The Confederacy of Babsina is a mammoth, efficient nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. The hard-working, devout population of 7.965 billion Babsinans are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Defense, and International Aid. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7.4%.

The very strong Babsinan economy, worth 507 trillion bitcoins a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is fairly diversified and led by the Basket Weaving industry, with significant contributions from Automobile Manufacturing, Pizza Delivery, and Door-to-door Insurance Sales. Average income is 63,683 bitcoins, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 204,829 per year while the poor average 14,996, a ratio of 13.7 to 1.

Organ donation is compulsory, surveillance cameras are banned, the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit, and the weather in Babsina City is always 'pigeons with a chance of droppings'. Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Babsina's national animal is the unicorn, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Babsina is ranked 17,539^th in the world and 1^st in Stellar Fields for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 5,267.01 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
