The Interstellar Cabal of Astrobolt is a titanic, cultured nation, ruled by Chairperson Flame with a fair hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls, complete lack of prisons, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, democratic, cheerful population of 15.507 billion Astros hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The large, liberal, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Galactus. The average income tax rate is 93.9%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Astro economy, worth a remarkable 2,450 trillion Golden Stars a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Book Publishing and Tourism. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 158,037 Golden Stars, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Chairperson Flame's reputation is hard as nails, students abandon classrooms for online education, future leaders of Astrobolt regularly dismiss pressing political issues when available options don't conform to their worldview, and the government has spent days debating the merits of a petition calling for a ban on sporks. Crime is totally unknown. Astrobolt's national animal is the Elephant, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Astrobolt is ranked 6,518^th in the world and 83^rd in 10000 Islands for Highest Average Tax Rates, with 93.89 Effective Tax Rate.
