As spring continued to drag on, entwining itself with the warm summer nights, a feeling of dread had attached to the Confederacy. With the rise of the Sibylline, a mélange of inferior states sought out to snuff the flickering flame of harmony that the Gothic Confederacy introduced to Strangereal. But to most disquietude, such a flame has grown and shall continue to burn with tenacity and pour its ethereal light upon the righteous. Yet the sea has not yet calmed, as a storm of violence lies upon our borders in the East, and a letter of interest has been carried from the South. This epistle of diplomacy was to be addressed by the Maligaliurvik post haste. The seemingly decaying Minudian holding to the south of the port Hitty had recently sprung from its slumber and turned its eyes towards the arctic confederacy above it. Extending an olive branch much to the elation of the Inukuungmittuti Government, requesting for a convocation between Minudian diplomats and the most divine council itself. Such an opportunity should not be overlooked, and after tiring deliberation, an official reply was to be brought forth.

To the hardworking peoples of Neu Capita,

The Inukuungmittuti Government is delighted that our southerly neighbor has decided to extend its hand towards our people. A prolonged silence finally broken in such a turbulent time certainly has its justifications, and the establishment of talks between our states is certainly of that importance. It is assumed that our nations’ induction into the Sibylline Confederacy disturbed those within your colony within the homeland, and although we assure there is no intention to disturb the peace within your country, we are not ones to hide our relations with the Hegemon of East Osea. Concerns about the relative safety and order of the Greater Sikumi Region have arisen, and if desired, the Maligaliurvik can discuss a diplomatic venture between our two nations and hopefully dissipate concerns emitted by your government. We try not to tread on the independence of any territories throughout Strangereal, and with cooperation from both governments, a sense of brotherhood could be bridged across our borders. If it is not too arduous of a journey, the western city of Kuugjiaq has been chosen as the aforementioned meeting point. And with the date of meeting to be decided by the Minudian side having no objections, the Council, as does the rest of the government, sit eager to begin negotiations with Kirkland Mancheff, and paint the fate of the region as a whole.
