Good! Anonymity on the internet should not allow anyone to make extremely dehumanizing or racist remarks. Just general slurs nor toxicity would not get you a ban and the only people who will be "hurt" by this are people just logging in with the sole purpose of attacking other people for no reason at all.

It’s definitely one of the absolute worst updates in the history of Minecraft.
Anarchy servers might as well pack up. Those who are banned “temporarily” with billions of days and banned permanently will also pack up.
While the salty 9-year-olds win by acting out the report, and possibly some spam report scripts. We can still perfectly say this is the beginning of the downfall of Minecraft. We should all move to Fortnite now.

Quite sure that anarchy servers warn for total anarchy and griefing; which would then fall into the category "you know what you were getting into"
I've worked with automated ban systems etc and there are way fewer "false positives" than you think.
Just compare it to the bans on Nationstates with people going: "But this was only my first offence!!!!" - The mods can see a series of multiple offences, warnings, and bans over multiple puppet accounts - result: they get the DoS strike.
