Chapter 1

One day, the professor had a photo, and on it, there was a girl that looked very beautiful. This picture belonged to Professor Ross. This January, Professor Ross went to Macau. After leaving the Central Osean Republic, he got sick and died. The day before, his child looked after the picture. Upon looking at it, he said, “I was in my dad’s book where I saw the picture, and also he and you guys are written in there. When you all go to Macau, he invites you to find someone.”

Daiwei took the photo and the letter and looked at it. The photo shows a girl in her twenties who looked very good-looking. The picture had mountains and also a lake. It was very good-looking, but it wasn’t like a park. Professor Ross’s letter was very short.

“Daiwei, Jiefu, Qiutian,

I’m still in Macau to take pictures. I really want to go to Macau again one day, help a chinese girl do something, but my health is not good enough to go. In the future, you all should go to Macau when you go on vacation. Please look at her when you find it-” The letter was not finished.

Who is this beautiful girl? What was her name? Where did Professor Ross meet her? Why did he tell them to go to Macau to find her? Dawei doesn't know anything.

At Lunch, Dawei looked at Jiefu and Qiutian. After they looked at the photos, I asked them, “Do you guys know the girl?” a classmate asked, “Did the professor tell you about her?”

Jiefu and Qiutian are both Dawei’s classmates and they are very good friends. They all go to the University, and they were all Professor Ross’s students. Jiefu spoke.

“I don’t know the girl’s name and I also don’t know where she is… But, when Professor Ross went to Macau in January, he said that his time in Macau was very short, and it took a few days to see a girl in other places. He said that after, he went to see her.”

“What does this girl do? Why did Professor Ross really want to see her in particular?” Dawei asked,

“Professor Ross said that this girl is very interesting, but why she is? I don’t know,” Jiefu said as Dawei took the photo for another moment. Jiefu asked a quick question, “Dawei, do you want to go to Macau to find her?”

“Professor Ross is our teacher. He told us that when we go to Macau, to find this girl. He thought there must be something very interesting. We should go.”

Jiefu looked at Dawei before he asked, “Do you kind of like this girl?“

Dawei waited a moment before speaking, “This girl is very beautiful and good-looking after I looked at her picture… I often think of her. I think she looks very similar to my previous girlfriend. Two weeks after holiday break, I wanted to go to Macau. After arriving in Macau, I will wait to find her.”

Jiefu spoke, “I also want to know this girl, she is really beautiful. I have never been to Macau before. Let's travel to Macau together and find this girl together, okay? Professor Ross said that this girl is very interesting. I also want to know what this girl does.”

“Great! We will go together! Qiutian, what about you? Do you want to go with us?” Jiefu asked,

Qiutian thought about it for a second before speaking, “We don’t know this girl’s name, nor do we know where she is, so finding her will be extremely difficult… Macau is too far away, and it takes a lot of time to find it. Dawei and Jiefu immediately began to prepare for the trip. They went to the library to read a few books on Macau and watched a few Chinese movies and TV Shows. These days, they are thinking about where to go first, what to bring when they go. They had barely slept for two whole days. They have to go to class and prepare to travel. They are really too busy, but they know that they are going to Macau and that beautiful girl. Both find it very interesting.

Qiutian does not go to Macau with them, but often asks them: How are your preparations? When are you leaving? What plane do you take? What are they going to bring? He tends to ask a lot of questions. Dawei wants to go to Macau, Qiutian doesn’t. Why is he asking so many questions?
