Not really, NATO is not an extention of the American Empire but it sure is an ally. Very few missions that NATO undervent where done in good heart, and non of them where done in protection of NATO members (the reason the alliance was started in the first place.) Take the NATO agression over Yugoslavia, it was deemed illegal by the UN and they where advised to stop any military action against Serbia, but America brute forced it anyways.

Somewhat, all I'm going to say is I support the free market. Government intervention is definitely necessary, as some things require force to be implemented, and a polity that possess monopoly on violence is a good way to maintain a country's development standards.

Yeah I think Hayek was right on this one, it makes sense for government to intervene to stop monopolies otherwise the free market will destroy itself

I'm not talking about that though that's a component. I'm referring to infrastructure development and basic public necessities, which should be forced by the government for the corporations to adequately provide and maintain, of course with economic and fiscal incentives.
