Well yes, the main battle tank may be lighter but it can survive a shot or two. Plus you did say domestically produce, this tank will be easier to produce than the other one. Powerful gun, fast speeds, and lighter than the other one makes it a good one for long-medium engagements and quick to move into positions.
well you see, the turret is separate from the hull, so when there is an explosion the crew inside the hull will not be killed in the cookout and the turret will just blow off leaving the crew alive. This tank has anti-missile system so whenever it detects an incoming projectile it will send a small projectile to explode near the incoming missile.

If you're looking for a much better front line fighter, than the other one is better since it has better armour, the same caliber but fires at a lower range, and is harder to produce.
well yes, but sometimes when the turret explodes it also kills the people in the hull. so even if the turret is gone, the people in the hull will live.

well thats in normal tanks, if there is an explosion in the turret. the turret will plop upwards and the explosion and most of the force will also. They may get injured but at least its better then getting killed by an explosion and burned alive.
