The fact that we have a cartographer and just randomly adding landmasses without his approval makes no sense.

Disregard the fact that solitas exist.

Well, you need to accept the Fact that the Map chooses our Land, and we got used to it, and you need too.

Sara looks solemnly out the transport.
"A few years ago, I started something called the Unification. It's job was to get rid of radicalism in Terrabis-Seran through negotiation and compromise. Those deals broke down and open revolt began. Some former territories broke away, but the majority reveled in the chaos and became raiders, taking over the majority of New Cortheas and sacking Port Irene. The Seran Citadel, our capital, was a battleground for weeks, but since those radicals in the Seran Citadel were mostly made up of pro-human sentiments, it wasn't hard for us to deal with them. After all, when word reached the 4% in the Capital, of the radical's views, they actually did something none of us expected: They fought with us. The radicals in the Citadel were for a better term annihilated, allowing us to eventually get back on our feet and began rebuilding. While humans only make up a quarter of the population, the 4% are an oddity in Valsora."

She pauses

"I'm glad we have those who are not humanoid with us, rather than against us."

As the transport rolls through the main complex of Irene, broken warehouses, bombed-out streets, and ruins are what can be seen. Workers are seen repairing, soup kitchens are in operation, and soldiers patrol commonly, giving a sense of hope for a return to normalcy.

When the transports leave the damaged walls of the city, as they go through checkpoint after checkpoint and out of it's outskirts, Sara speaks up again

"Terrabis-Seran was known for it's forests. With the majority of settlements underground, we didn't really have to build up. This gave those denizens who wanted to live in more of a wild, lush area the chance to, without having to deal with man. But because of the chaos..."

She trails off as they go over a small hill. Where two of the twelve forests of Terrabis-Seran once stood is charred ruin. Imperial Soldiers can be seen either planting trees or coordinating efforts with other officers. Brighteye's blinks, and what suddenly were gaps in a group of soldiers are Nymphs and Sylphs, taking part in the restoration efforts.

A fifteen or so miles away from the secured road they now travel on, flashes of light and booms of artillery can be heard. Soldiers most likely defending what they already secured from raiding parties.

"These Forests were supposed to be a haven for those not used to the cities, now its our fault that they've lost their homes here. We will rebuild, and we will regain their trust. I swear it..."

She looks back to the group and smiles
"At least the home districts are safe. There you will be able to see nature at work."

. . . sorry I asked. -But! Percy clears her throat and stands up straighter on Apple's shoulder. Nature works fast. I mean, look at this! She stretches out one of her wings for Sara to inspect; it's bent at awkward angles, like a few bones didn't heal straight, and covered with the marks of old rips and punctures. In some cases, the holes still remain -- not as open wounds, no, but as missing flesh that Percy's body had been unable to replace. She's more scar tissue than dragon. You can tell I got beat, yeah, but all the skin's grown back and it hardly hurts anymore. I can even fly short distances! Nature does the regeneration thing quicker than people think. Those forests will bounce back in no time, they just might . . . well they might look kinda ugly. But they'll be there! That's what matters!

Granite leans forward to nuzzle the (much) smaller dragon and give her a bit of telepathic reassurance, then turns his attention back to Sara. She's right, you know. My family's Tree was targeted in our . . . semi-recent civil war; it did not burn, of course, but the forest around it did. New life erupts from such ashes so quickly! Why, the animals are already returning. The air is starting to smell of greenery like it did before.

The cults are the two longest standing religions on the Arcadian island. Despite being very very outdated, they still exist because their deities are still very much alive (and very much more not sane).
They're the two biggest religions on the island. They're the reason the island is split into two kingdoms despite both being under the same empire.
And they absolutely f*cking hate each other.

The cult of Mila is the nicest of the two. The Earth Mother supposedly.
Mila's followers pledge their life to her, and mainly run churches and other missions. They get nice stuff like fire, lightning, and white magic.
All in exchange for a bit off of their lifespan each time they use the magic.

The cult of Duma is basically the equivilant of a domestic terrorist organization extremely devout religion. War Father and all that.
Dumas followers get things like teleportation and another thing that I've never used because I haven't run it past any RP mods yet. They dedicate their lifes to attempting remove the Zofian kingdom from existance.
All in exchange for sacrificing their soul to Duma.

That's really all you need to know unless you want to know more about Mila and Duma.

Hol' up, you said you had dragon cultists too.

Why though.

Moss spreads the wood pulp out, rather thickly, to dry in the sun. Then he starts chewing up another tree. It'll take a fair bit of bootleg plywood to rebuild these people's church.
