Well given the fact that horses aren't in an open field fighting a firing line of Armor and Infantry with tons of guns, the armor being difficult to get through a forest...

That is literally one on the core uses of our Cavalry 😑, and second of all, have you ever played civ 5? You would hardly ever upgrade units. I still have a Trebuchet in the modern era in one of my games for no inherent reason besides laziness.

The officers would continue to work, not even flinching at the comment, rather taking off their helmets to reveal their faces. A few were human but the rest were either Wolf Folk, Fox Folk, Cat Folk, Kitsune, and even one Slime Folk.
