Military The Aquaria, Officially the Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria, is a socialist country is a country in Europe, off the north-western coast of the continental mainland. The Aquaria includes the Isle of Joratia and the Hestiria Island, comprising Kurumia, Asuna, Narançia, Czarlott, Artoria, Blois, Karstene and Hestiria. It is a federal state formed by several socialist republics, in the practice of a loosen and planned economy. Unlike a lot of socialist states, the Aquaria is a multi-party state, while having a history of one-party state for years after its establishment. Its capital was set in Laïkrina City, the largest city of the Aquaria, which is located in Kurumia, the most populated republic. The other major urban cities are Ylökoski (Asuna), Lionne (Czarlott), and Tanya (Karsten). The Aquaria is a medium-sized country, sizing 416,334 square kilometres (about 160,747.456 sq. mi). The modern Republic era of the Aquaria has its root in the January Revolution of 1943 when the Aqua Communist Party, headed by Nikola Lieblein, lead the raging crowds to overthrow the monarchy and fascist Government of the Empire of the Aquaria. The monarchy regime then fled to the South, dividing the Aquaria into the North (Communist) and the South (Monarch/Fascist), which also started the Aqua Civil War, lasting for 35 years. In 1978, the North Aquaria has gained its final triumph in the civil war, reunifying the Aquaria into a federal Socialist State. Nowadays, the Aquaria is a high-developed socialist state known for its high living quality, high average income, very balanced income equality, and social stability. Its level of Human Development Index (HDI) has been over 0.9 since 2014, which easily ranks the country on the list of one of the most developed countries. The Aquaria has shown its high advance in Technology, Healthcare, and the Military. It is one of the member countries of the United Nations and also one of the official nuclear-weapon states. "Aquaria" is the name of the whole region. The caste system suppressed the workers and some other people, making them unable to rise their social class forever. Slavery was even allowed before 1892. By the calculation and results of historians, the highest caste class owns 67% of the money in society, while the lowest caste class owns less than 2%. Inequality exploded during the Great Depression started in 1929 when the global economy was severely affected by Wall Street’s failure on stock prices. Chancellors from moderate parties including the CDU or the LDP was not able to solve the failure of economy, which also led to the political instability happened. Kajetan Kocurek was caught in the fall of the Imperial Palace (now the Argento Palace, the government headquarter of the Socialist People's Republic of Karsten) and executed in 1985, and most of them survived the fascist officials and soldiers who are tried for all crimes that they committed. Finally, 17,910 people were executed. The Aquaria, following Lieblein's October 1 Speech, finally unified under the Communist Party government. The 1982 reform removed the ban on parties, introducing a democratic parliamentary system, which allowed other voices to be influenced. The government also put much more budget and effort to improve the economy and people's quality of life instead of just the army, which makes the communist party gain popularity among the people, remaining in power even now. The historical period of pre-reformation and post-reformation is sometimes referred to as the first republic and the second republic. The capital of the republic, after the reconstruction of the city of Tokisaki, badly damaged during the war, moved there in 1997. The regime continued until the communist revolution in 1989, which overthrew the fascist regime and established the Second Republic of Hestiria. The Communist Party of Hestiria was pro-Aquaria and decided to hold a vote in 1992, on whether to rejoin the Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria in 1994 or not. The vote was passed by 91% supporting the reunification, and Hestiria officially rejoin the Aquaria on 1 June 1994. In 2000, Chancellor Lieblein has died in his office after being elected for the 14th time. He was 88, in total ruling as the president for 57 years. After the death of the long-ruled president, Lennart Vainio is in power, until his resignation in 2022. Population Among the population, French and Aqua are the twin major language of the Aquaria. Many minor languages are also spoken in different regions, for example, Polish is spoken in Artoria, and Swedish and Deutsch are spoken in Karsten. In overseas states, the speakers of the minor language even outnumber the official languages. The population in Aljabal usually speak Arabic more than French and Aqua. Religion According to the constitution, the Aquaria is a Parliamentary Democracy, while the head of state is the President and the Chancellor. Nikola Lieblein, who is sometimes referred to as the father of the nation, has been in the power for 57 years, till his death in office in 2000. After his death, Lennart Vainio, the vice general secretary of the Aqua Communist Party, took the position of acting Chancellor and won the 15th parliament election of the Aquaria, which officially makes him the president until his resignation in 2022. The Chancellor can be re-elected infinite times, while the President can hold office for 3 terms at most, which is the main reason why there are only four chancellors ever elected in 83 years of the republic's history.
