Rationale & Analysis

Fair Work Visas Act is a proposal that aims to reduce the burden placed on workers taking jobs outside of their country of origin; its methods of doing this are decidedly minimal, but if nothing else, a step in the right direction. Its sole mandates serve to prevent the withdrawal of visas for changes of employment, or brief lapses thereof, and it fortunately does not stand in the way of more effective legislation down the line. As such, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has directed Kethania to vote FOR Fair Work Visas Act, and urges the Bloc's World Assembly nations to do the same.

I have a rule against dismissing most issues. If there is no choice that resembles ignoring an issue and the issue might reasonably be dismissed in real life than I can do so. But I try to answer most issues. Sometimes the best answer still has wacky results.

Ok.
Let me break it down - it's quite obvious when you think about it.
As per the issue option, you have unilaterally imposed CO monitoring in all buildings.

This is:
A) regardless of whether said buildings actually require them (remember, some buildings are heated purely electrically, or completely passively, etc).

and

B) regardless of whether their inhabitants actually want them (bearing in mind that the tinfoil hat brigade will think that they are government mind control devices).

and

C) not actually free, as anything handed out by the government is funded by tax - usually taxation of the public.

Consequences:
A) because of the lack of consideration as to whether a co detector is required in any given building, the public will see this as government waste.

B) because the government has decided to encroach into the domiciles of its people, and force the installation of government mandated monitoring equipment, without first gaining their consent, big brother watch and their ilk will be up in arms.

C) As no prior consultation has been carried out, or consent sought from the public before putting this policy into place, the maxim of "no taxation without representation" comes into play.

TLDR - This issue operates on the idea that imposing things on the public, without consulting them first, and spending public funds without public approval, is detrimental to civil rights.
