Remember this is an opinion. I think what’s happening with the protests has gone a little too far. What the people are protesting for is justified but the problem is that a lot of people are opportunists so they use this time to loot stores also the person that did this horrible crime is fired from his job as a police officer and is charged with third-degree murder so normally the protests would be over what do people do use this opportunity route stores are still doing it. This is my opinion on what’s happening with the riots if you have a different opinion please quote me. Ps sorry about this random post The United Nations of Kvenland, Liruslau, Nationific, Ayeinc, and 4 othersZentata, Banq, Hopal ii, and New khalifa |
S2: Sections 3 and 4 could be merged into "Cooperation", have seperate sections which only contain 1 clause each doesn't make a massive amount of sense to me when they could be relatively easily located in the same section. Overall, I think it could be written much better, and I believe there has been a lack of care that went into the drafting process, leading to the multiple simple errors in the treaty itself. I agree with you on many points, especially the part regarding opportunists using this to loot. But I do not believe this to be the sole reason they have persisted. I believe the other reason protests have continued is that this has been an issue far too many times in the states. Not only that but while the murderer was charged, the other officers who stood by and allowed that to happen were not despite effectively being accessories. |

I didn’t really know the starting incident really well but I realize that a lot of bad things are happening not the protesters that are causing it it’s the opportunists I heard that in Atlanta that they burn down police stations. |
It is important to note that this is far from the first police-brutality related riot (they date back the Civil Rights Era). Even this pattern of internal destruction and widespread looting isn't new. The only particularly unique things about this set of riots are: If this was some new, final act like some people on the internet are pushing (not that anyone here is), there'd be way more deaths. Thus far, 8 people have been killed and ~1700 arrested in this set of riots. Compare this to the 1992 LA riots, in which 63 were killed, 2,383 were injured, and 12,111 were arrested. These protests probably won’t change anything long term |
What I’m saying is that protests have looters that are kind of related to them making their Cause unpopular that’s why I think they won’t have a long-term effect but I think the police should have more careful picking when looking for officers we don’t want this kind of incident to happen again we want to make sure our country is free from racial violence god bless America |
My dear lad, three words: Boston tea party |
Post by The nordic democracy suppressed by Zentata. What separates this from the Boston tea party is that it’s hurting the common citizen. The Boston tea party didn’t even really affect the average citizen |
Post by The nordic democracy suppressed by Zentata. I am near were Chicago is and a lot of the Big stores near me has been looted and they’re planning on looting a Store near me |
The Patriots only destroyed the thing related to what they were protesting. They didn't go around burning homes and stores, they didn't even burn the ship. They destroyed the tea and that was all. The United Nations of Kvenland, Nationific, Ayeinc, Banq, and 2 othersHopal ii, and New khalifa |
It's not really pessimistic though, people have been slaughtering each other since the beginning of the human race. Hell, even animals do that. It's nature. |
The Imperial Welfare Union of New Camelot of Avalonia I know I haven't been very active, but I don't want to stay silent on this, and I hope others also do not stay silent. I'm in the United States right now, and I am absolutely heart broken by the racism that has been in the spotlight this past week. I'm heart broken by the continued murder of Black men, women, and children. And I'm heart broken and angered by the system that refuses to change. So I want to use this platform to share my (unorganized) thoughts on this. These protests are about a system that does not respect Black lives. It's about a country where people armed with guns (and brandishing them in an extremely threatening and intimidating manner) protesting public health, with posters of Nazi slogans and with confederate flags are protected by the police, yet people peacefully protesting a violent racist system are mowed down by police cars, sprayed with tear gas, and infiltrated with undercover police officers to instigate violence. Colin Kaepernick was vilified and made public enemy #1 because he peacefully protested police brutality. Peaceful protest isn't respected by many of the same people that are enraged by the looting. There exists two different Americas - one that white people live in, designed for them. And the other that has been created by white people for minorities, one that doesn't respect their lives, especially not those of Black Americans. One of the murders that is being responded to with these protests is that of Breonna Taylor. In Louisville Kentucky, Breonna Taylor was killed in her own house. When the police used a battering ram to enter her house, her boyfriend, licensed to have a gun, used it for self-defense of the couple (as armed men had just broken into the house unidentified in the middle of the night). The police officers shot Breonna 8 times. Breonna Taylor was an EMT, and had wanted to become a nurse, buy a house and start a family, and have a career in health care. There are countless other stories like this, and police continue to be held unaccountable. Let's not forget that the institution of police in the south was born from a force created to catch run-away enslaved people. They evolved to enforce segregation and the sharecropping system which continued to exploit Black citizens, and eventually Jim Crow. With many officers having connections to the KKK, they failed to protect Black Americans, and perpetuated (and still perpetuate) a system of oppression. To call the police a racist institution is not only appropriate considering its history and its present day track record and failure to change, but is necessary to have conversations that can lead to change. In 2006, the FBI found that white supremacist groups were infiltrating local police forces across the country to protect other white officers and to antagonize communities of color. Meanwhile, there are white people that wield their deadly privilege by calling the police on Black Americans sitting in Starbucks or bird-watching in Central Park (look up Amy Cooper). Don't try to deny that the police protects and empowers white racism while continuing the murders of Black Americans, white people in America already know this and use it to their advantage. For those of you who may be thinking of saying this I'm not saying that all cops are bad. But I am saying that many cops are bad, and are part of an institution that has failed to change and continues to excuse racist and unfit officers and kill Black Americans without cause. So I would like to make a few things clear to those who may find it unclear. 1. Much of the violence and looting is initiated by undercover white supremacists (some of them cops) looking to create violence and confusion, antagonize these protests, and excuse the ensuing use of excessive force by the police. NS is an important platform, and I think we should 100% have the discussion. I think we should have it where it will reach the most people, and I think that is on the RMB. If you think that this isn't the type of thing that you should have to see on the RMB, then wake up and recognize the privilege you have for this to be an issue you can ignore, or pick and choose when to be confronted with it. Thank you to Sho, Dekks, Warden Nakari, Qvait, Badivermeraed and Prince reece island for working and promoting the dispatch. Please donate to one of the groups listed in it if you are able. The No Time To Die of Nationific While I completely agree with it, I'd appreciate it if you would spoiler the text. And, do you like my new flag? I painted it, this painting is an achievement. |
Hopefully not, if we take initiative and change the world. Nationific and Sho |
