For vooperia

It takes place right here on the RMB! And of course the RP map.

As of now it occurs on the RMB, but a couple people have advocated to do it on discord.

The RP is our Regional Roleplay. It is like this:

Icerim wrote:"Whats Parnelvim?" asked one of the Vikingrs begrudgingly. "How should I know. This strange land is warm and beautiful but filled with cruelty and anguish. I never should have called to that traitorous fisherman." several moments of silence passed as a whisper traveled up the row of wooden carriages, one Vikingr to another unable to move from their chains. Finally, it reached the front "Alfhild has gotten free, and has an axe - the guards do not know. First, we allow the lock pick to be passed down the row to use and once we free ourselves, when he says to put all our weight on the right side of the carriage, we do so, and crush the soldiers on that side. Then, we out and fight." The man nodded. Slowly, as the lock pick was passed down the row over two days, more and more of the prisoners secretly became free, but it was as one of the Vikingrs tried to reach out of the slightly separated spaces between the carriages, two from the end a guard took notice. A spear pierced the one mans chest - 16 Vikingrs still trapped in chains, and nearly 200 left to fight. The men in the two unfree carriages overturned theirs at the first bloodshed - falling on top of each other, and breaking limbs, but also breaking the guards which were to their side. Soon, men fought on the grounds violently, on those rolling hills.

But axe against sword, and bare hands against spear did not last. The Vikingrs eventually were outflanked, and encircled. The remaining some 122 of them broke through the lines of the guards in a last ditch attempt, taking the bodies of the deceased ones, of which theirs outnumbered the Parnelloans and used them as shields as they ran faster than they ever had up that hill, and deeper into the countryside. When they finally thought they had lost the enemy, they set up camp. Little did they know they were less than 60 miles from Parnelvim. Later that night, a man slipped out of their makeshift camp while they were burying the bodies of those they had lost, and those that families on the coast had lost. He made for Parnelvim, successfully having disguised as one of the Vikingrs own.'

Oh and Jesus that is a beautiful website man! How did you make it? I want to make one for Icerim.

Corazistan wrote:It was almost dawn on the coast of Aszcrovia. Some fishermen who were early for work were chatting amongst themeselves, exchanging tales of their nautical adventures, arguing over who had hauled in the best catch the day before, and preparing their equipment for a new day of routine business. That was until a sailor perched in the crow’s nest of one if the larger ships spotted some ships in the distance. most of them looked like snall trading ships, however there was a rather large frigate escorting them. The sailors were not expecting any arrivals and were rather curious as to what this was as they edged closer to the pier. Finally the ships touched down on the dock and a rather extravagantly and colorfully dressed man exited the ship, surrounded by soldiers who vastly contrasted with the man they escorted, sporting mostly dark grey, blue, and blood red uniforms, but appearing no less dapper. These soldiers carried rather foreign looking rifles with with a strange scythe-like bayonet. The sailors slowly walked towards the men and were relieved that they showed no signs of hostility at their approach. In fact, the soldiers broke formation, allowing the colorfully dressed man to step forward.
“Greetings!” the man said in a heavy accented, but clearly jovial tone. “My name is Tarpori Yutripas. I come from a place known as Corazistan!” He was fumbling with the words, likely because he was using a foreign language. “We have been watching your people from within for a little while now and finally after all this time, have decided to initiate negotiations for a trading alliance! In fact right here we have a wealth of gifts to give you from these ships! We just need you to guide us to your leader for the negotiations to begin.”
The fishermen were bewildered. Should they trust the foreign strangers with such unorthodox clothing, accents, and weaponry?

Edit: oh sorry didn’t see Parnello beat me to it lol. Ignore this post if you want to.

Suddenly, a spacecraft descends towards the city, landing on the spot designated for it over one hundred years ago in the Imperial Gardens. The WA Representative from the Empire, and the WA Ambassador to the Empire step off the ship. "Emperor," says the representative bowing, "A new law has been passed in the assembly." He pulls out 'Defending the Rights of Gender and Sexual Minorities'. "What nonsense is this?" questioned the Emperor, reading through it. "Well, if I must abide by it let it be so, but we do not record the gender people have, or whether they wish to change it. Perhaps the rest of the part of the galaxy which the WA Governs, but not on a 'backwater' planet like Kirakam. I am afraid its provisions deal with an altogether different class of nation. The same goes for the 'abortion vill which was passed two centuries ago,"

Europaterre, new GA proposal. Time to start the discussion about it.

I stand against Command Responsibility to be honest - the GA is far to far to the left and it mandates we take a lot of individual authority from commanders on the field, forming an unnecessary bureaucracy around such.

According to its Article 2, Clause 4: "No member state may penalize subordinates who refuse, in good faith, to obey an order of uncertain legality under World Assembly law regulating conduct during armed conflict, even if the order is legal in hindsight. Member states will take all prudent steps to treat evidence or investigations of a subordinate's lawful refusal under this Article as privileged information, and may not include it in a subordinate's service record." This not only makes it far more difficult for member states of the World Assembly to wage successful war, but also makes them more venerable to attack once again adding unnecessary bureaucracy.

I disagree, despite not being a part of the WA - it merely protects officers in the military from prosecution via the clause "Appalled that there are so few protections for those subordinates ethically trapped between the duty to obey orders and the duty to obey the law;"

I agree, I think this takes away power from local governments on the control of their armed forces. Individual countries I think should have the decision making regarding anything to do with their armies and not be told what can and can’t be in an investigation and what can and can’t be put on an individuals record. For example if some candidates are up for promotion would you really want to promote someone who has ignored or not followed orders in the past?

Hm. I hadn’t previously considered that. Now I am even more convinced of standing against the proposal.
