I was princess of a kingdom or stuff and mindlessly dealing with issues of my people when suddenly a cataclysm occurred forcing to flee our lands in seek for somewhere to find refuge to. We could manage to get onboard of our big helicopter/plane/balloon airship in steampunk style while we had very little hope to find food or even place to land to. After a time we arrived to an island, that was calm and seems a good place to live but it was leaded by a nation already! We peacefully approached and manage to look as nice as possible and they accepted us between their lands to live in now. It was so nice! As soon as they authorized us I used my magic to help with anything I could. Me and my close friends could be interesting to the native civilisation that were kind of like France's calm and peaceful culture while we were like Spartan or something, we could share technology and other stuff mindlessly helping eachother by now. But only a day or such after, the cataclysm where reaching here too, for some reason. It is like a bit of a storm or something as a cyclone maybe. So we could make them learn our errors, getting everyone inside and protected. After a time it ended, without too major incidents, as it must be less powerful here than our native region, but eventually a great fleet of our ever-lasting enemies where showing and approaching! I said we will do anything to protect the island because I knew they were hostile to anything else than themselves. But my dream ended when they docked. I don't know what happens next. Urgh.

You can have more than one character if you want. You can either explore the plot of the dream further or you can play a part in the plot she's already written down. Go!
I am the leader of the Island that Femcia escaped too. I had a talk with my closest advisors on if we should let them in or not. We decided to let them in and stay there for a while. We promised to share technology with them to improve relations. We were prepared for the cyclone because we have faced many of the before as such as another strong Category 4 storm that hit us about a month before. As the hostile enemies arrive at our island, we prepare our army and special forces. With our cannons we would be able to take out one of the ships arriving before they docked. When they came onto land at our Northern beaches we would immediately start attacking their troops. Our skilled archers along with out skilled soldiers, we would stop them from advancing further into the island and with the help of Femcia, we would send them packing back to their kingdom but this came without losses. We would lose 3 major generals and many of our skilled soldiers during this fight but we would successfully win the battle.
Yay that's wonderful!! =^w^= Btw the dream was first person view and I was a princess alicorn where my ponies were all scared of the event but I could find a way to protect most them! It was really nice! But also so sad and scary!
And then a new threat arrives in the form of Don Murasame. He is very hard to catch as he can travel underground like a shark. He can appear out of nowhere. He defeats the remaining soldiers easily.
Technically this is a lie because I do and have gotten tired of his works, but as the intent behind the question is to recommend stories I have to throw out Wildbow, aka the other Canadian named John Macrae who got famous about 10-20 years after the turn of the century for his writing (the first one is the Flanders Fields guy). Wildbow's published around 8-9 million words in the past 11 years, and I cannot recommend his stories enough if you have the stomach for them. They tend to have a lot of violence, trauma (physical, mental, and emotional), body horror, mind control or manipulation, harsh language, general bleakness of tone, etc. But very very good. Worm/Ward, Pact/Pale, Twig. Look it up.
