Important notice from the Kingdom of Londinium (now refounding as Niamark) Dear friend/ally, I am writing to notify you of our region’s pending re-founding. After two whole years at Londinium and a well-developed community, we’re deciding to pack it in and start afresh! Why? Well, although we’ve had a good run, stagnation of late alongside foundership insecurity has us convinced this is the right decision. Our new home shall offer much the same as we do currently, with an emphasis on opportunities in regional government and an exciting nation roleplay experience. The refounding project has been baptised Niamark and the move was confirmed earlier this month by a sweeping majority in a democratic vote. Further, a pre-established government was elected and Germanic/Nordic theme settled upon in order to provide a smooth transition. (Note: The old region shall be password-locked to serve as a resting place for our old nations. We expect continuity in the vast majority of our current active membership) We wish to cordially invite you to our official opening ceremony on the 10th October. The festivities begin at 09:00 EDT with Niamark’s ribbon-cutting at 13:00. This is to take place on our new discord, the link to which may be found by clicking the box at the end of this message. Hope to see you there! The resumption of foreign relations can be arranged swiftly if (as we hope) you wish to create a new embassy with Niamark.
