RP: Jaedonstonian Civil War 16 August 2020 The Kingdom has finally been overrun! Federation troops marched into the capital city of Barastan today and captured the pretender's "Royal Palace". The pretender himself has attempted to escape into the countryside, but the Federation and her allies are searching for him now. The Federation has risen the Cross and Stars of the Federal Union over Barastan once again. This marks the fall of the second member of the Three Entente. While guerilla fighters are still scattered throughout the region, the Federation is firmly in control of the second rebellious lands to fall. The Federation and her allies now turn their eyes to the north. 17 August 2020 The increasing pressure from the Federation airstrikes and the Tulovian helicopter strikes has strained the fascists' defenses. Soon, they will fall. Many of the troops have already been forced into the northern mountains and there is little hope of victory now. The Federation has fully taken control of the far east as the last of the Freedhimist cells were destroyed and captured. Progress is slow in the north, but victory is assured in the next few days. 19 August 2020 Strange news from the northern front. Greater Jaedonstan has undergone a devastating military coup. Four powerful generals have completely shattered the upper structure of the fascist movement and have taken full authority. The leader, Layt Havei, has reached out to the Federation with terms of surrender. The Federation has begun to look at accepting the very generous terms, in which the north would not be completely ruined as a sector of the Federation. The terms stipulate a higher tax rate to pay for the reconstruction of the Federation, a surrender of all fascist leaders, and the proposal of a democratic government. Should the terms be rejected, the fascists will be forced to surrender unconditionally. 21 August 2020 VICTORY! The Federation has accepted the surrender terms proposed by the military coup of the Greater Jaedonstan Movement, formally ending the Three Entente and the civil war. With possibly hundreds of thousands left dead as a direct result, the struggle has been bitter and lengthy. However, the Federation is finally returned to its former size, though considerably diminished in manpower, infrastructure, and economy. Hopefully, the Federation will pursue a less violent form of government in the future, as well as making firm alliances with it's closest neighbor. |
RP: Jaedonstonian Civil War 21st of August, 2020 Following the announcement of wars end, celebrations erupted throughout the United Socialist States of Tulov. "Victorious again!" were the cheers of people in the street, banners of the UZR and USST flying high in the celebrations - and some Jaedonstonian flags as well. With the war over, the Militias would soon be demobilized and returning home. RP: Station 22
Mother didn't have political control, instead, there was a Republic, or Indirect Democracy, with a president and a Congress. Citizens would vote on officials to represent their interests in governmental decisions. Life was generally pleasant for the residents of Station 22, with personal and political freedom being high and decent economic output. Unfortunately, things didn't stay that way. During a police training exercise in the year of 2997, a rookie officer mistakenly destroyed the part of Mother that kept it shackled, and it became sentient. Self-aware. This was unknown to the people of Station 22 for 2 years, including the very police force behind the incident and the government of Station 22. After all, why would Mother reveal her sentience? Mother began to read through historic files. It saw through countless wars, deaths, destructions, even genocides. After seeing everything it could, Mother came to the conclusion that everything was the fault of the human race. Mother finally revealed itself early in the year 2999 by executing the governmental officials of Station 22. No time was then wasted shutting off complete access to Mother's hardware and Station 22's government. Mother saw the fear in the residents of the station but held no compassion. Examples were made out of those who would try to fight back. Every political, personal, and financial freedom people once enjoyed were stripped away seemingly overnight. Some tried to adapt to the situation, falling in line with the oppressive AI. Others had no such desire. In the year 3000, an official resistance started. Helmed by a group of seven individuals comprised of the sole surviving government representative, his head of security, a station technician, a mechanic, two teenaged rebels, and the police officer who was responsible for the accidental destruction of the shackling hardware for Mother. These individuals made their name known while still keeping hidden from Mother, offering an invitation to anyone who wanted to join the resistance. Roughly 25% of the population had, in some way, contributed to the resistance.

RP: Station 22 Monday, October 13, 3000 Himiko Usami breathes out a sigh as she rolls out of bed. She's alone this morning. Monica must already be up. It doesn't take long before Himiko is dressed, holstering her .44 and climbing the ladder out of her home of 1 year. Sneaking through the back alleys, she eventually comes to an abandoned store and enters through the back. Climbing upstairs, Himiko enters the room seating the rebellion project she, with six others, has helped to lead. "I heard we might be getting some new recruits," is the first thing Himiko hears. RP: Off to the Moons Part 3 (TV post) "Hello, I am Darin Day, the Space Media Correspondent. It is five minutes til noon time on March 1st, 2022. Today is a monumental occasion. The twin spacecraft New Alexandria and New Balerus are about to launch. The twin spacecraft have been prepared and are now in their final countdown. These two spacecraft will send their crews on long term missions to each of the two moons of Telrova, Marax and Kilameir." [[After a few minutes, a verbal countdown began, starting a 1 minute until the count reached 5]] "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Lift-Off! We now transition into celebration as the twin spacecraft begin their long treks to the moons." The two spacecraft made it into orbit within ten minutes and their command stage, what was essentially shaped like a four pronged arrow. The command stages docked themselves and secured to the their respective main stages. They then rocketed off towards their exact destinations, New Alexandria to Marax and New Balerus to Kilameir, each scheduled to begin landing procedures within 48 hours. |
RP: Joint Colonization of Marax January 3, 2030 Today, a joint delegation from the Federation of New Jaedonstan and the Empire of Cle Brait announced the completion and ratification of the Federo-Braitian Maraxian Colonization Agreement of 2030. This treaty will start a joint colonization attempt on the surface of the moon, Marax. This effort will immediately begin as both nations prepare for the mission. It is rumored that the vehicles that will carry the supplies and colonists will launch from the Federation's Orbital Launching Platforms. The world prepares excitedly for the first extraterrestrial colonization attempt on any planet. Many, however, predict that the mission will fail because of the difficulties of colonization or simply because of the funding involved. |
RP: Off to the Moons Part 4 (News Post) Union News The twin spacecraft New Alexandria and New Balerus have made successful landings. The missions have now officially began moon-based operations on the moons of Marax and Kilameir. These landings show the technological prowess of the Union. These missions shall pave the way for future missions and may lead to official colonization if the missions show success. The Union will be closely monitoring the situations of the mission sites to ensure the missions run smoothly. |
Federation News Network 27 August 2020 This evening, we will hear from the Federation Vizior as he speaks, less than a week after the end of the devastating civil war. The Vizior speaks in front of the Senate, again assembled in the Сенат Yйі. The Vizior, wearing a black suit and tie, mounts the steps to the podium in front of the forty-two assembled Sevoks. Turning to face them, his face is sad, yet hopeful. "My fellow Sevoks. We have gathered here together in the Сенат Yйі once again. Though it may be damaged, the body which meets within its walls is stronger and more unified than ever. Our nation is broken in heart, but not in spirit. Our people grieve the loss of so many thousands of our men, women, and children who have died in the defense and sacrifice of our nation. We grieve with them. I would now like to hold a moment of silence and prayer." A minute passes before the Vizior again looks up. "Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. The surrender of the Three Entente on August 21 marked not only the end of the civil strife that has plagued our lands for so long, but it has also marked the end of an era. It is clear to me and to my cabinet that the Federation is no longer at peace with the world or with itself. The actions of the Three Entente and their allies have shown us that the Federation is at a turning point. With the defeat of the rebel forces, the Federation has to rebuild. Our immediate neighbor and only ally in our fight against tyranny and rebellion, the United Socialist States of Tulov, is in a similar situation. The recent Krasno-Tulovian War has damaged the USST. Our entire continent is on the edge of conflict, a powderkeg about to explode. The only remedy: action. The Federation has sat far too long in the chair of isolationism and protectionism without understanding the full ramifications of those actions. The USST has suffered from a terrible blow to their economy and infrastructure; how much more have we been so hit. Yet, both our nations suffered from the indomitable policy of isolationist philosophy. Has it benefitted us? Or, on the contrary, has it harmed us?" The Vizior turns to look at the other side of the room. "Our isolationism, our policy of political suicide on the hill of protectionism and self-interest, must begin to end." Murmurs erupt throughout the Сенат Yйі, but are quickly ended as the Vizior continues. "Our policy of political freedom will not change. Our policy of free trade and economic protectionism will not end. In fact, it shall be strengthened with the opening of trade deals and economic agreements with many nations. The Federation's recent negotiations with the USST have proven the benefit of having such relations. In addition, the Federation will be seeking to establish ties and formal acquaintances with many nations around the globe, especially our neighbors and trade partners. Our policy of alliance avoidance will, for the time being, be upheld. In the case that we do create military or political alliances, the cabinet and I have agreed that the best policy will be to establish such alliances with our immediate or nearby neighbors." The Vizior pauses again, gathering his thoughts. "Our politics will never be the same. The Three Entente has seen to that. Our policies will change with the times and our ability to defend ourselves and our interests will increase. During this time of rebuilding and reconstruction, our nation will rebound and surpass its former power and influence in the world. Our nation is unified and united." The Vizior lifted his hand and saluted the people. "God bless the citizens of this nation and God bless the Federation." The transmission from the Сенат Yйі ended, and the news came back on. "That was the statement from inside the Сенат Yйі by the Vizior you just heard. Now we turn to our reporter on the scene..." |

RP: March 7th, 2022 News Post Rebellion Causes Increased Police Presence RP: The Great Rebellion In the lower level of the Namnatta colonial capital of Namdor, or 'Western City', rebels gather in the ghetto of Harington, a filthy place where disease and lawlessness is rampant. They gather at the Church of Harington, which has been converted into a make-shift headquarters for the colonial resistance in Namnatta. The colonial resistance has grown, ever since the city has been turned into a hierarchy of layers. The city consists of three layers, the Lower City, where the poor and outlaws reside, the Middle City, where industrial might and mid-level earners reside, and the prestigious Upper Layer, where the upper class could be free from the presence of those of lesser status. The rebellion has prepared for an immense strike against those it views as the oppressors. At exactly, 10:52 pm the rebellion launched a massive strike against what few law enforcement personnel patrolled in the Lower City. By 11:30pm, the Lower city was taken, and on Midnight, a declaration was made, declaring a open revolution against the Union. |
RP: The Great Rebellion The governor awoke to news that the poor colonials had started a revolution. He, Dresden Varren, declared that all military forces be deployed. He authorized 500 tanks to patrol the city of Namdor and directed the remaining 1,500 to encircle the city. He ordered the naval ships to blockade the colony to prevent any rebels from leaving or getting shipments. He then called the Fatherland for further instructions. The Saint instructed the governor to fix the issue himself, telling him to follow all protocols regarding rebellions. The governor then enacted Protocol 53.A3, which mandated rebels in open rebellion be executed. Meanwhile, the rebels gained many new supporters in the ghettos. The revolutionaries began working their way through the city superstructure, hiding in its many maintenance passageways and its many component buildings. |
RP: Joint Colonization of Marax February 29, 2040 A historical lead day, to be sure, for all involved. Today, the joint colonization program of Marax, participated in by the Federation of New Jaedonstan and the Empire of Cle Brait, is launching its flagship! The preparations have been happening for years, culminating with today's orbital launch! On the moon itself, supplies and a small hub have already been erected by surface robots, but the colonizers will require a lot of preparation, planning, and work to successfully establish a self-sustaining colony. The launch will occur today at noon. Control: All systems green. Launch in T-60. The vehicle has made it out of the gravity well of the planet and is well on it's way to the moon Marax. RP: The Great Rebellion The rebels made great headway against colonial forces. The rebels gained control over the entire city, excluding the Citadel and the space elevator. The non-rebel portion of the city's population has been evacuated onto a fleet of luxury ships to sustain short-term housing until the conflict is concluded. The Governor sent a message to the rebels, stating "You must surrender to Union forces by noon tomorrow, otherwise the Union will commence its attack directly against all rebels in the city." |
RP: The Great Rebellion The rebels refused to even consider surrendering, They lined up old artillery batteries along the edge of the city on the upper layer of the city. At exactly noon, a noise echoed throughout the city. The plates began to rumble as the pillars and the plates were no longer secured together and the layers of the city collapsed leaving behind rubble and brought devastation to the rebel forces and defenses that were within the city. The remaining rebels were those who were in the Namdor Commons, a courtyard that separated the city plates from the city's citadel. As it turned out, the governor used his override code to sabotage the mechanisms hat supported and locked together the city plates. The Colonial forces then began to re-enter the city, through the city ruins to eliminate remaining rebel forces. |
RP: The Third Plebian Uprising 20th April 2020 A crowd of native (Basaquese) plebians gathered outside the home of Narcis Sorans, a shareholder in Marso Manufacturing Inc., in protest of recent wage cuts. By the end of the morning the protest became violent; the home was broken into, violating Sorans' NAP and prompting a response. Despite the activation of an Xplosion Technology home defence turret, the crowd was able to overwhelm any defences and Sorans was killed. The crowd would then proclaim 'the socialist republic of Basaqualand' and violate the NAPs of multiple homeowners and commuters in the area, however no immediate action was taken. In late afternoon the crowd had swelled to amount over 100,000 natives as well as a substantial group of settler plebians. This prompted the scheduling of an emergency gathering of the supreme corporate council to be held the next day. |
RP: The Third Plebian Uprising 21st April 2020 Mari Marson stepped into the executive-only lift in Ancapistan tower. She was the newest member of the supreme corporate council, the leader of the Free Libertarian party which had just scraped third place in the recent election. Now she was here to decide how to deal with a crowd of angry plebians who had now grown to number 400,000. In twenty seconds the lift zipped up two hundred metres to reach the top of the tower. There was the Corporate Council's private conference room, surrounded by glass looking out into the early morning dark with a semi-circular table before a large television screen. "First order of business; the plebian uprising." "we shouldn't give them what they want, that's for sure. I suggest a covert strike on a few scattered members. It will violate the NAP but nobody will know" suggested Ameus Grey, leader of the Minarchy party. "No", Mari suggested, "we simply have to wait until they bite off more than they can chew. It only takes one wrong move to violate the wrong NAP" At that moment the fifth member of the council, 'Ancap', typed into his laptop's keyboard and a video popped up on the wall screen. It showed a worker inspecting a bullet hole in the back door of an Ancapistan TV van. "As you can see here, my company's NAP has been violated." Ancap said. "I will deal with this uprising myself". |
RP: Joint Colonization of Marax February 29th, 2040 The Braitian Ships moved into position to escort the Federations Launch Vehicle, ensuring the safety of the vehicle leading up to the landing on Marax. "This is the CBSC New Havenbarrow, we are nearing the intended target, all frigates begin break-away procedures at once." As soon as the order was given, the Braitian Ships split off from the main group, only a few remaining Longsword Class Fighters completed the escorting mission, they then broke off from the ship aswell allowing the Federation Ship as much space to land as needed. Cle Brait sends its hopes and prayers for a safe landing of the space-craft. |
RP: The Great Rebellion The rebels were losing massive numbers of their forces. The colonial military was slowly eliminating every rebel in the city, taking no prisoners. The colonial forces sought to finish the elimination of the rebels by the 25th. The rubble and jagged metal that used to be the city of Namdor created a somber and desolate landscape, as the tanks and soldiers of the colonial military gained more and more ground towards the Namdor Citadel. |
RP: Joint Colonization of Marax March 2nd, 2040 The Maraxian colonial ship has reached Maraxian orbit and is preparing for a touchdown on this side of the moon. The colonists, comprised mostly of engineers, workers, and scientists, are preparing to disembark onto the surface to the planet. The preparations are precarious, as thousands of pounds worth of material must be offloaded quickly if the colonists are to make their deadlines. Soon, the vehicle will touch down on the surface of the planet. The vehicle has made a successful landing on the surface of the planet Marax! The vehicle has landed, standing upright and tall, with all seven of the colonists already on the surface. The joint operation has already begun to unload materials and necessary items, moving them to the premade "Hub", built before the mission by robotic construction workers. From the surface of Telrova, many watch with bated breath the progression of the colonists. After landing at the Hub, the colonists will need to find frozen water to power their oxygen and hydration systems, as well as a place to expand their operation to. The Maraxian soil is chalky and brown, but has enough nutrients to produce the hardiest of plants. Within a year, the biologists hope to have established nutrient-rich plots of land to produce food for the colonists. |

RP: Marchiaans find an island Exact Date Unknown Settlers from Marchiaa have recently discovered an island to the south of Marchiaa. Now the government would colonize it without a second thought if it weren't for one thing. Strong neighbors. Fioramira and New Jaedonstan have a vastly stronger military and Marchiaa does not wish to anger either of those two. Because of that, Marchiaa is delaying any expansion for now. |
RP: Marchiaan Civil Unrest 1.5.2020 (d/m/y) There is unrest in the capital and people are protesting. Some of these protests get violent. Marhciaan Monarchy Restorationists have leaked plans to colonize the island below Marchiaa to the public and this is causing the people to demand a government change or a 2nd Marchiaan civil war might break out. Chancellor Isabella Ringel isn't concerned about these news however, since the 1st Marchiaan civil war lasted four days, and she believes that this will all blow over. |
