Tens of thousands march down the streets of Callistagarad. These are no paraders, but patriots and counterrevolutionaries. They chant "Long live the Army's Revolution! Long Live Callista!" The counterrevolutionaries march down Diamond Lake Road, to Tauride Palace, home of the Prime Minister. Since Peta Dorte signed a decree proclaiming himself Prime Minister for life, dissolved the Imperial State Duma, established a Provisional Government of the Callistan Republic, and "abolished" the Monarchy, popular discontent had been widespread in the Tsardom. Dorte's dream of a Republican dictatorship to last his lifetime had turned into a failed coup, where his power barely exits the capital. Finally, these brave soldiers break through the gates, then the doors, of the Palace. Dorte and his conspirators will be captured and brought to Bykhaw Prison in the middle of the night. On the 12 of March, 4 days after Dorte had established the Provisional Government, Peta Dorte and his comrades will be executed by soldiers of the Imperial Callistan Army. General Oktavian will occupy the capital, order military commanders to seize "temporary" control of the regional governments, and seize the apparatus of state power. Populist work programs and infrastructure projects will revive the economy, and economic incentives and comprehensive social welfare will vitalize the previously impoverished middle class. The State Duma will eventually be summoned after this brief "National Unity Government" led by the Army.
