Meanwhile the point defense systems also were targeted by the ship that dropped the ODST pods to begin with, essentially launching surgical strikes with FTL missiles and coilguns in retaliation. Of course for buildings that were putting up too much resistance the Ebbotian units would essentially bring the buildings down by blasting it with heavy munitions from their main battle tanks. Ebbotian ODST infantry that found themselves on the roofs quickly got to work on securing the rooftops itself before proceeding into buildings, of course their Shields providing a lot of resistance towards the plasma weapons and limited resistance to anti material rifles. Of course casualties for the ODST squads that had a rough landing on the rooftops would definitely be present, and on the ground casualties were likely sustain but they kept going. ODST infantry squads would often use the Sentinel drones that they deployed with as distractions and of course as a rather dangerous thing that can fire a beam of pure heated up hardlight into enemy soldiers, due to the extreme heat the beam would usually immediately set someone on fire overheat a shield or melt armor if not dealt with properly. Meanwhile indeed swarms of the sentinel drones would begin to enter the city via the Imperial Army that's outside of the city, primarily marking targets and serving to make confusion and chaos for enemy lines. Depending on certain parts of the city course air support would be available and would indeed be used if the point defense systems were completely cleared out and whatnot These Mechanized Units would be harassed by either Anti Matter Anti Tank guns, provided by the imperium. which would fire a very small amount of anti matter in a beam to deal with armored units quickly. or simply anti tank missiles nad grenades. while likely not being able to destroy the ebottians's armored units they would likely be able to severely damaged them. meanwhile the buildings they were collapsing still had civilians in them. which would raise the general civilian casualties into the thousands. Meanwhile the infantry squads would have no issue clearing out buildings. as most were evacuated once they had been entered by the ebottian forces, and as they would find out. trapped to all hell with mines. IEDs and holes in the ground that drops into flooded basements. these sentianl drones would be targeted by imperium nanite swamrs that would swarm and consume them. The Olenlians Monarchist and Democrats would reach the Kuripula Palace, one of the largest palaces in the country and essentially a vacation home for the Olenlian Royals. the Imperium and Nationalist Forces had turned it into a fortress essentially, and the Monarchist and Democrtats would fail several attempts to actually take it. meanwhile the Columbian 88th Arctic Divison. counting about 8,000 Clone Soilders, 1,000 Robotic Forces, 800 Super Mutants and Armored and Mechanized Vehicles. they would mostly be acting as a relief force for the ebottians and would make headway into the mostly by now abandoned city center.
