Quick note: The Shielding mentioned in the First two dispatches are not literal shields that block and deflect ammunition or other stuff. Shielding in that use is a collective term used to describe various methods used to minimise the impact of damage the vehicle suffers, and so laser shielding just means various methods used to minimise the damage done by lasers.
