I was thinking it was a soft reset. We ended really making lore in the 2150s ish so I think it's best to have what I had in mind. I was thinking like a disease apocalypse happened or whatever and (pandemic) half of the world died so that way we can make new stuff while not forgetting the old, however sw stuff and everything at the end is retconned
