The Auralian Government has confirmed that an order for a Cheon Wang Bong Class LST and K9A1s have been placed by the LS military, and that the Auralian defence manufacturers would begin fulfilling such orders as part of a greater deal and increasing military partnership between the two countries. The Auralian Government has also confirmed that additional radar acquisitions would occur as well as other infantry weapons systems for the Auralian Army. The K9A1s to be produced will be producing an interim LS-variant that would incorporate a number of safety and ergonomic features. Additional weapons systems and UCAVs would also be acquired by the Auralian Armed Forces to "further strengthen the Auralian military against foreign threats".
The Auralian Government is also willing to sell and produce K9A2s for the LS military in return for additional sales of David's Sling OR Arrow 2 & 3 SAM systems as a stopgap and complement to the development of the indigenous L-SAM, with a final decision to be made on the type of SAM required at a later date. Additionally, further systems of interest such as the Sparrow and other missile systems are under review for potential acquisition by the Auralian Defence Forces. In such an instance, the K9A1-LS would be produced in a certain specified quantity while manufacturing lines, supply chains and designs were finalised for the K9A2. The production of the K9A2 would then begin with a series of batch deliveries to deliver the remaining K9 SPGs on order.
