The Grand Protectorate of Raskana

In the northern emisphere during January (for example) it's winter and it's cold, during the same time, in the southern emisphere, if I'm not wrong, it's around one of the hottest times of the year, is it still called winter or is it called summer?

Its called summer, the seasons are switched I believe.

Example found on google:
Australia's seasons are at opposite times to those in the northern hemisphere. December to February is summer; March to May is autumn; June to August is winter; and September to November is spring.
