Many of the 'houses' the Kurkag use seem relatively simple, as expected by their low level of advancement. Despite this, the craftsmanship needed to make such a house is impressive. Many of them seem to be made out of coral that has been moved and shaped into the shape of a house, with a door covered by seaweed to give privacy. Inside of many of them are Kurkag either sleeping on beds also made of seaweed, lights made of a bioluminescent substance, and various rocks and paintings made of dyed blubber meant to act as decorations. Some of the elders also seem to have necklaces made of oyster pearls while the warriors have spears and similar weapons inside their houses.
