The Empire of Tyramon

Aerlanica wrote:Morning broke with the sunlight shining through the window and upon Vara's sleeping form. Despite her resistance to heat, she still felt it's tickle and shifted as she arose. She opened her eyes and watched as Nelly likewise woke up. She looked to Vara with a warm smile.

"Good morning, Vara, I trust you slept well?"

The Aerlanicans, while disatisfied with the answer about the cones, stated that they would like to have a look around the whole of the temple, for the sake of investigating the architecture, as well as offering their services for any repairwork that was needed. They added with a bit of dark humour that they had plenty of experience with repairing damaged buildings.

Eastrid sat down, having arived late.

William let out a little chuckle.
"Well, I guess if the Protector of Kansas is endorsing my actions...I suppose i'll double my efforts."

He gave her a polite bow.

Vara smiled and nodded.
"Yes Mistress, I did."

The Aerlanicans were free to explore the public parts of the temple as long as they are respectful of the place. The Aerlanicans are informed that no assistance is needed in maintaining the building. There were a few locked doors, and it was explained that those areas were reserved for the priests.

The architecture is simultaneously extravagant and simplistic. It was extravagant in its large, sweeping shapes and geometry rising far up. It was simple in its lack relative lack of detailing. It was almost as if the designer was given unlimited resources but very limited time, or perhaps a very large budget which managed to be used up before any finishing touches could be added. Close examination revealed the entire structure to be made of platinum and gold, and one of the few Priests who was present proudly confirmed that no other materials were used in the main structure. The large windows on the walls near the ceiling that provided natural light were - according to the priests - thin sheets of flawless diamond.

The Aerlanicans were invited to pray and to join the religion. One of the Priests began to - essentially - give a sermon on the prophecy that one day Savareon would be freed, and he would work to spread his gifts to everyone in the universe, and there would be peace and prosperity for all time.

(I'll wait for Kansas.)
