The church of positivity

An Interesting Alternative

Despite the increasing tensions around the world, the Church of Positivity has faced steady growth, even in the face of adversity. The group hopes to establish branches in several more countries to diversify the guru's message and contribute to the spiritual development of the whole world. With other more covert logistical motives, the group aspires to cover as much foreign territory as possible in case the situation in Caryton turns hostile.

The syncretic belief system of the Church provides an interesting alternative to mainstream religions, especially in nations where relationships with mainstream religions like Christianity are strained. The enigmatic and enthusiastic church has a wildly different belief structure, what one may consider syncretic or new-age. The claims of the group are wild- like that founder and self-taught guru Hadrian Ariano is Buddha and Jesus, that he has supernatural divine powers, or the doomsday is imminent... however, the wholesome practices of meditation, yoga, asceticism, and charity have drawn away from the more sinister belief practices and initiation rites of the group. This is mostly done through the immense charisma of the Holy Master, the Teacher, himself.

The group hopes that their acceptance into the society of other states will spread peace, goodwill, enlightenment, and karmic improvement to a world that needs any joy it can get.

Formal requests to begin establishing the Church of Positivity are sent to these foreign nations:

Island Zero
Diamentium
Westbeech
Ngogu
Soleil du nord

The Church of Positivity covertly buys plots of foreign land in impoverished nation

With little press coverage, the Church of Positivity has set its first foot in the fractured and war-torn nation of Zamboodle. The Zamboodle Branch of the church is small, with a brief visit from Hadrian Ariano performing various miracles (alongside some secret extortion and brainwashing) only earning the state about 1,500 members- mostly concentrated in the outskirts of the ravaged Zamboodlese capital of Kumswalo. There they live extremely secretively in heavily fortified communes and compounds to prevent the other warring factions from harming them.

However, the Church's presence in Zamboodle is more than staking a bid in Kumswalo. In light of recent investigations, the church has bought several remote properties- compounds and facilities in the dense southern jungles, obscured from the non-observant eye. In several of these facilities, the process of making chemical and biological weapons has begun with advisors and suppliers from The Greater People's Empire of The Controlist Ferwerter Union being given the address to begin their work.
