At the moment not much is known about the cause other than an explosion heard from the shoreline. Currently, helicopters of the Andaluzian Coast Guard are being flown to and from the platform to perform rescue operations of the operators on the oil rig along with other Coast Guard craft. It is expected that if the well is not able to be plugged swiftly, it is likely that most of the Andaluzian Sea will become filled with oil damaging the local wildlife and ruining the shorelines of both Andaluzia and Terranihil. It is not expected to affect any countries outside of the Andaluzian Sea due to the strong currents which push water into the Sea and not out.
