Life is too short to worry about death. Make your life meaningful, be nice to others, and take good care of yourself and of yours. Enjoy life while it lasts and provide for the future as best as you can.

One thing I love about this game is that it teaches you to think carefully about your choices. Seemingly trivial issues have unforeseen consequences. Life [in this game] is full of mistakes, but every mistake is correctable, given enough time.
