Ever since last years NWI Flag competition, the DIA has been hard at work finding new and exciting cultural events for the region. 

We now have a flag we can be proud of that is among the best regional flags in NS and we believe regional anthem is the next logical step to forge the identity of the NWI.

Without further ado, the DIA is calling upon all aspiring lyricists, poets and songwriters of the NWI to produce a worthy regional anthem. Anything goes as long it doesn’t cross the line into offensiveness.

The submission period will be one week long (two weeks if we don’t have more than 3 submissions by Monday). All entries are to submitted to me via telegram. Following this, a 48 hour voting period will take place to determine the winner.

Along with the honour of composing the winning anthem, first prize will include 2 epic-level trading cards and 2 random NWI cards. 2nd prize wins 1 epic card and 1 NWI card. 3rd wins Ultra rare card.

In a the coming 24 hours, a dispatch for the anthem competition will be created to compile all entries.

How can one write the lyrics without the music? Could we use a standard instrumental music and make lyrics for it?
