In traditional sense no it is rich and powerful. Ideologically yes. It says in the constitution "All men are created equal" Yet America is very unequal and since it's a 2 party system it is close to a dictatorship.
No, not at all. America is actually a great country with interesting politics; the american proletariat is slowly awaking I'd say. The people of America are loose and they're never typical like Europeans, which is awesome. The US is just a 1st world country like any other, we all know the pros and cons of these countries.
America hasn't ''failed'' since they have prevailed through 2 world wars, they won the cold war, they landed a man to the moon first, and they still dominate and sanction any country they don't like uncontrolably. America has spread so much false propaganda to the world without a lot of people noticing. No I'm definitely not saying that the US is good and I'm definitely not praising the things they do, personally I highly dislike America, but it's a very iconic capitalist country nonetheless.
America has so many problems. We've all heard of them so I won't go deep in explaining them. But, speaking in a materialistic approach, it's not the fault of the US alone for failing to care about its people. It's the fault of capitalism itself; because no capitalist state would ever care about its people. Imagine for a second if America was a socialist country or an anarchist free territory, controled by the IWW or some other similar organization, then, the American working class would live better lives than now.
Even if America falls sometime in the future, as long as we're under capitalism, there will always be another ''America'' and by that I mean there will always be a country to take the spot of America's. So if America is a failure at present, it's not America's fault but rather the fault of capitalism for turning America into the bad country it is now.
In conclusion, America isn't a failed entity, but capitalism is what's causing all the damage here. America, as lots of other ''failed'' things are just products of capitalism and their time. America is a capitalist state and it has succeeded on doing all the unfair things that a capitalist country does, so it hasn't ''failed''.
The United States is an oppressive colonial state built on stolen land. Just like the rest of the Western colonial powers, it maintains a parasitic relationship with the global south. The economy of the "first world" is propped up by the looting of colonized nations. The US military acts as the global enforcer of white supremacist colonial resource theft. The US is not broken, it is working as intended. This land needs to be decolonized, its not merely about "fixing" a broken state.
The United States is not a failed country, but it is also a failed country. We commend the United States for its focus on civil rights, but we also condemn the United States for violating the civil rights of more people when it focuses on the civil rights of some people. They have the world's largest economy and strong scientific and technological power and talent,But their glorious economy is the tears of the people of the Middle East, the bones of the African people, the shackles of the East Asian people, and the flesh and blood of the poor in their country. And their strong scientific and technological strength is not used to improve people's well-being and explore galaxies, but to internal friction and exploitation.Once the United States was a great country, and his revolutionary spirit inspired Patriots around the world who pursued democracy and prosperity. But now he's one of the most reactionary forces in the world, a decadent country covered with parasites
It’s dangerously close to being a failed state, what with current gas prices and inflation. Maybe this will make Americans realize that capitalism is a failed system and replace it with communism.
It shouldn’t be classified as a ‘almost failed state’ because of gas prices that are mainly causes due to the war in Russia (apparently) and I DEFINITELY doubt that the USA would immediately switch to full-on communism because the gas prices are a bit higher and inflation.
Manchujuo
Hello I just joined. (I am an actual communist not just some kid that claims to be communist when he doesn't even know anything about it and just thinks it was Soviet Union and North Korea)
Well hello my dear new (possibly) friend. I am happy to greet you in the Communist bloc although I do not champion positions in here. About your umm, warning you gave, Don't worry, you didn't have to claim that you are a ACTUAL Leftist, You can't find many who are Not or are Pseudo-leftists. :) (Edit: I say friend because I Don't really like using the word comrade.
Manchukurun
Hi welcome!
I would recommend changing your flag away from one of a fascist puppet state. My nation is a communist Manchuria worldbuilding project, notice how it is different
Uhh, you should probably change the motto too, which was informed by the fascist and colonialist ideology of the Concordia Association
Manchukurun
Lol this is why I go to an explicitly leftist space to do Manchuria worldbuilding, so many of the people that show any interest in that region of the world are just fascists
have you considered this is because manchukuo was quite literally a fascist state.
Socialist indian republics
Manchukurun
The region has a long history of its own before being controlled by Japan. Pick any part of our real life timeline other than the 30s and 40s and we are not talking about a fascist state anymore. That is before we even bring fiction into the picture
I would not be surprised if most people’s knowledge of Manchukuo comes from Hearts of Iron, that would be another explanation for why they are all fascist.
Valierde
Well, u are right. I know about this puppet from HOI4
