Greek chanting is different from Russian chanting I’m used to hearing, but nonetheless I think it’s beautiful too.

3.4 Notwithstanding any other provision in this act, an Elder may be appointed to serve as a Chaplain on the Chaplain's Council and fully exercise the responsibilities inherent to a Chaplain.

Yesterday, my ear was itching bad, and I rubbed it, and afterwards, (I know it's gross) my ear felt clogged. I knew it was earwax, but it wasn't that bad at the time. So I tried to clean it with a q tip but I ended up pushing it further down, and it just made it worse, and now my hearing was completely muffled in my right ear. I had bought some drops to weaken the ear wax, in the hopes I could get my hearing back. I did it a few times, but nothing happened, it didn't go away. So I went to the doctors and they put their own drops in my ear, and irrigated it, and I could hear again. I could still hear some water in my ear until about the time I left the building. Now, I will interpret this experience.

The "itching ear" is my need for satisfaction. I try to attain satisfaction by taking matters into my own hands, but I end up taking myself captive with sin. I try and I try to clean myself up- to get rid of my sin, but I only make it worse. My sin has made me deaf to the Word of God, and recognizing this, I try to "clean" the sin out of myself, to my own demise. My works avail nothing and my sin continues to keep my deaf, making the Word of God "muffled" to me.
However, what I need to do is check in with the Great Physician, who will give me His Works to pierce through my sin, and cleanse me through the waters of Baptism. The promises of Baptism will remain with me until I leave this life and go home to be with God.

It's strange how I somehow interpreted a minor inconvenience into something so deep in spiritual... But it makes sense.

I love this story because my ear has been having the same issue the past few days. I've been trying to clean it out myself, but I might have to go to the doctor because it doesn't seem to be improving.

Hello Ecclestia I’m the puppet of The New Ruski Empire who will soon be leaving this region. He asks me to become elder instead of him(on the elections)

How does everyone view the current World Assembly proposal? page=ga I initially voted for it because it seems like it's coming from a good basis and I like the intentions behind it. But after thinking about it some more this just seems to be too heavy handed and I think there are probably better ways of helping parents with newborns.

I'm not in the WA, but I think the proposal is okay. It's a start to real labor rights, which the actual world hasn't figured out yet.
