Pax types on a keyboard, running the numbers. A data disk ejects from the console, and Pax loads it into the navicomputer. Course is set. Let's hope I didn't miscalculate something.

Indeeed. I’d rather not end up in a black hole. What are my orders cap.

Pax begins adjusting some controls. Hexior, fire the engines.

OOC: Lake of fur will CTE in two days without Vacation mode on and Zombie penguin thinks its not on.

A nearby intercom activates
Yes sir!

Secondary ignition is starting, fuel flow nominal, electromagnetic radiation levels fall inside large amounts of static and crackling is heard levels. Prepare for departure.

A faint boom is heard from the back of the ship

Tertiary ignition complete. Engines are yours, Captain.

Aw geez. If you hear anything, let me know. Lake's a friend of mine.

Pax speaks into the intercom
Thank you, Engineering. Blasting in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Pax throws the lever, and the engines roar.

IC: spins in chair Sir, with all due respect, I'm a little worried about vibration issues. I'm not doubting Hexior's abilities as an engineer, but in the event he missed a few details with regards to the CONclave's engines...

OOC: Good lord, I just thought of this and I'd have never thought I'd come to this point in NS. First a nobody, then a nation on some RP game in TNP, then nobody again, then #1 Most Hated Man in TNP, then a drifter, then some dude at a bar, and now Chief of Security on a starship.

Pax Nerdvana It’s happened. Lake of fur has kicked the bucket. So have his puppets (Including one in this region).

IC: I helped the lead engineer build this ship several ... I don't remember how long ago, but it was a long time. Point is, when the engineers were doing a do-over on these engines, I spotted the things they missed. Feel free to come down and take another look though, there is always room for improvements.

OOC: Wow.

As Hexior said, she'll hold together. She may be battered and worn, but she has it where it counts.

This is the medical bay cap-o-tan. All is good down here. We are ready to rock and roll.

Engineering report: Speed is currently reaching 598 c, projected fuel consumption is 7%. Plenty of room to go faster, but at this rate it shouldn't take long to reach Sol.

So far nothing major has broken, aside from the lieutenant's bathroom plumbing. Speaking of the lieutenant, where'd they go?

I have no idea. He had a similar long absence last year. We talk pretty frequently, but I haven't heard anything from him in ages. I'd assume he'll be back eventually.

Wow. I go on hibernation mode for a week or two, and then when I wake up, half to three quarters of the region is gone.

Seriously though, I've started getting kind of bored after 6 months of playing the game nonstop, so I've returned to Minecraft. Fun fact: I have more hours in Minecraft alone than in my entite Steam library combined (probably because I've been playing MC for almost 7 years now).
