Did you know Forest is on the second page of 792 when it comes to Most Eco-Friendly Governments?

So a couple administrative items:
First, Green Planet has asked to build an embassy with us. Their factbook entry show a perspective very much in line with ours. They are only a region of one nation but I don't see why this should be a big deal. We could also cordially invite that nation to join our region perhaps.

Also, we can now add tags to our region. Most tags don't really apply to our region, it seems like, sadly. Some we may want to add include neutral, independent, or democratic (this applies in the way we run our region, not the kind of governments we allow, obviously). Most others really don't apply or only marginally apply to our region, for example off-site forum is one, and although we have one it is hardly ever used. What say ya'll?

And 24 nations is not so bad, I think Forest has about as many non-puppet nations now, as it ever has.

I have asked the moderators to create an environmental type flag - they are considering it.

Anyone have any opinions on the embassy with Green Planet though?

I say go for the embassy, also tags could include older region or something of the like.

Hippiedom had privacy concerns with the tg being posted publicly so I have deleted my post and surpressed Errinundera. Here is the bit of my post that doesn't have to do with hippiedom and is pretty important:

ah the embassy requests are pouring in! Perhaps we should establish some sort of format so that we can quickly, effectively, and democratically make decisions when we receive embassy requests. Here's my suggestion:

Maybe every time we receive I or Errinundera could start a thread in our sad forgotten forum to vote on each request. Voting could be open for a set number of days (say 4) and the results of that vote will determine whether the embassy is accepted or not? Or does someone else have another idea?

Swapping embassies isn't really much of a commitment. IRL, we swap embassies even with our enemies and only close them in times of great crisis or tension. I'm comfortable enough with the founder's discretion on picking compatible regions, subject to change by a majority vote. Especially if we're going to cultivate a largeish number of embassies, it will be very time consuming to vote on each one. For what it's worth, I know that Hippiedom is pleasantly green and will make a fine friend.

I like that idea Hera and after corresponding with Hippiedom for a bit I feel that we should confirm, too. Does anyone not want to let Errinundera decide and if someone strongly disagrees we put it up to a majority vote.

Or, Ransium AND Errinundera decide. :)

I mean, Ransium was voted into their role. We can exchange telegrams where necessary.

Anyway, in the meantime, I'll accept the pending ones that people are happy with.

Well technically since we refrounded forest you were sort of voted into your role too. But I have no problem with deciding too when given the oppurtunity.

I say no to Bohemian Grove as it looks like they are just adding everyone.

I have requested to construct an embassy with the region of eco-sense , it just er... made sense that our two regions would be a good match. I assume that nobody will take issue with it, however, if anyone thinks this is not a good idea please let me know.

Also after taking a look at the region of California I think I have never seen a region as similar to Forest. I just sent the delegate a notice of congratulations of our embassies being constructed.

It seems California no longer exists...
