The kingdom of Zaberaz Hapang (at the moment called Salembom) was created in 489 BCE when the 28 cities and 56 villages united. Uniting 84 governments into one wouldn't be an easy task see here is what they decided: they would first unite into sections, a section would be made up of a certain number of cities and villages that already had diplomatic and ideological ties and then they would convert this into bigger sections and bigger sections until it was all united under one name: Salembom. At first, there were 4 sections: The Hansetic league made up of 7 cities and 17 villages, the Shanem confederation made up of 9 cities and 4 villages, the Zebereng made up of 4 cities and 21 villages, and last the Sananapish federation made up of 8 cities and 13 villages. The plan was that these four would unite into two and then into one by breading the royal families of this 4 together. The royal family of Zerenberg bred with the royal family of the Hansetic league creating the royal family of Harenberg and governing over the section of the Harenberg league. The royal family of the Shanem confederation bred with the royal family of the Sananapish federation creating the royal family of Shanapish and governing over the section of the Shanapish confederation.

The plan was that the heirs of the Herenberg league and the Shanapish confederation reached adulthood and then breed to create an only royal family and a united kingdom, the kingdom of Salembom. On March 24th 472 BCE the royal family Harenberg invited some members of the royal family Shanapish for dinner, after angry discussions on political ideals (read the early history detailed for more information on both side's ideals) one of the members of the Shanapish spilled a bottle of wine over the heir of the Harenbergs, Shan. Although historians still discuss if this was intentional or not it doesn't matter the case is that Shan ordered the guests to be executed. As soon as the Shanapish realized this they declared war on the Harenbergs, this conflict would be later be known as the war of the wine because of how it started.

The war of the wine lasted 6 years with many thousands, of soldiers and civilians, killed. The number of deaths is estimated in about 220,000 in soldier deaths and 75,000 civilian deaths. Some of the major battles of the war of the wine were: the battle of bridge telome, the battle of shame, and the battle of the fortress.

The battle of bridge Telome was one of the first battles of the war it was fought, on how the name says, bridge telome, bridge telome is a narrow bridge no wider than 2 meters which crosses over the telome river that was what before the war marked the frontier between the Shanapish Confederation and the Harenberg league. The battle was very bloody and there was a sort of queue for soldiers to fight because the bridge is so narrow there could be at most 4 people from each side fighting even if they really squeezed. The Herenbergs were losing terrain the enemy troops were getting closer to their side of the river. Not all was lost the Herenbergs' general, general Vesh had an idea, he went with about 80% of his men up the river so up that there wasn't even a sign of the nearby battle then he ordered his men to remove all heavy armor, leaving them very exposed, and then he ordered them to swim across the ice-cold waters of the river Telome all of them swam the river, some were taken by the river, some died of hypothermia but the ones who remained were ready to fight. General Vesh ordered them to march downstream towards the enemy camp when they were close to the enemy camp they dispersed in the back and one of the flanks, when general Vesh gave the command all charged towards the enemy and massacre the Shanapish in a firm victory and granting the Herenberg League access to the enemy's territory.

The battle of shame was fought in the city of Sopol, a city that sadly was totally destroyed by the end of this battle. The battle of shame was the longest-lasting of the whole war lasting for 4 days non-stop and also the battle that most civilians killed, historians estimate all-around from 10,000 to 20,000 civilians killed. This battle is called the battle of shame because it was a great humiliation for the Harenberg League killing about 95% of their soldiers who fought on that battle and 30% of their total soldiers.

The battle of the castle was the last battle of the wine war, this battle took place outside of the Shanapishs' fortress. The Shanapishs' fortress was a castle with a 7-meter wide wall very hard to penetrate and with towers over 20 meters tall providing a great place for archers to fire arrows and patrol for an enemy attack the Shanapishs' fortress was almost impenetrable the attacking side had only one reasonable strategy: starve them out. On October 14th 466 BCE or day 4 of the siege to the Shanapishs' fortress, 9-year-old princess Alba contacted the Harenberg league via writing a letter, wrapping a message around a rock, and throwing it across the wall. The letter said: "I'm princess Alba, I'll open the gates if you promise to not kill me" Historians still aren't sure why she did this, some say that she was an intelligent and selfish little girl who knew she wouldn't survive otherwise, others say she had disagreements on the ideologies with her family for her whole life so she wanted them dead. To that letter, the Harenberg league responded with a message tied to an arrow that said: "Open the gates today at midnight." So at midnight of October 14th 466 BCE process, Alba opened the gates of the fortress and the enemy army came rushing in, all the resistance they found was a small army of about 800 men who were easily defeated. So that night every Shanapish except princess Alba was dead and the wine wars were over. That night a united Salembom was born.

From 466 BCE up to 132 CE, Salembom lived prosperously with many annexations of nearby kingdoms and empires it grew in size up to 8 times its original size but they had encountered another expansionist empire, the Cebos, they had way more advanced military tactics and technology, Salembom couldn't expand more and used all of its troops for defense but there was no hope of repelling them, all they wanted is giving civilians time to escape to the capital, Shelca with its gigantic walls so about 93% of the population did escape to the capital to live, the capital's population grew more than 100x it's original size, to solve this the Salebomans built more floors on every house and for the food they made floors also exclusively for food, being the first example of inside farming. Although all of these measures that were taken the city was very crowded about 10 people had to sleep in a very small bedroom and the rations were minimal, a person was lucky if they got to eat day in between, even the rich and the nobles could only eat one small meal a day. But the Cebos were advancing, by January 2nd of 133 CE they were already outside the walls, it was only a matter of time until their catapults and rams arrived and destroyed the walls and destroyed the only thing that was left of Salembom, but king Saco II wouldn't let his people die, he ordered them to dig a tunnel, under the city and outside the walls, he said it had to be at least 50 meters away from the wall. On March 11th 133 CE the king ordered the evacuation of the city via the tunnel, but not before he said one thing: "Cover the city in all the oil we have" and they had a lot of oil, so they did as he said and used every single drop of oil to cover the city then all the people left except one whose name has been lost to time, he waited so that everyone had gone through the tunnel, he opened the city gates, he waited until all of the Cebos´army was inside then he lit a fire and dropped it, with all of the oil the fire spread rapidly, him and all of the Cebos army, burned alive. Here ends the early history of the nation of Zaberaz hapang.

The people of Salembom traveled for weeks until they found the place where the country is located today, in October 23rd 122 CE there they created the city of Campton, and after that expanded and created other cities and towns around all of the region making up the current cities and towns of Zaberaz Hapang.

In the year 216 CE there was a huge drought that caused a famine so king Saco III ordered all the citizens of Campton and the representative from each city and town to come to the central place of Campton and he said: "I know we are passing through a rough drought, and desperate times require desperate measures, from now until the famine passes we will require volunteers to sacrifice themselves in order to provide the rest of the population with food." While the whole plaza remained in silence the whole royal family stood up from their chairs, slowly walked towards the center of the plaza, and lined up. put their head down so Prince Aloui could chop their heads off, after finishing with the other 8 members of the royal family he said what would later become the nation's motto: "Among on as All" and stabbed himself with his sword effectively killing off the first royal bloodline. Once every week in every city and town thought the empire everybody met in the central plaza and volunteers sacrificed themselves and everybody said: “Among on as All.”

After the royal family sacrificed themselves there was a power vacuum in the kingdom so on Agust 28th 216 CE a commander named Tamod took the power of the kingdom with help of the army and placed himself on the throne and renamed the kingdom to The Kingdom of Tamod after himself. Tamod governed with an iron fist, which made the famine even worse, by forcing the towns to give the few crops they managed to grow so he and his circle didn’t have to do cannibalism, to make up for this lack of food even more people had to sacrifice themselves in the cities and towns, making an unnecessary loss of lives, while the population got skinnier and skinnier, Tamod and his friends grew fatter and fatter. Historians estimate that it was in 218 CE that the drought was over, after 2 years of famine the population had shaken to 60% of the original population.

To make matters even worse Tamod was obsessed with gold, now that the drought was over he could sell the food to neighboring kingdoms that were still struggling with the drought and he even went to the extent of sending his soldiers to capture people at night to sell them as slaves and get more gold just to raise his ego.

After all of that, in 222 CE the people were over the top, they were united over a common figure, someone that would be later known as king Shapermen I. Under his leadership, the people united and overthrew Tamod. This started the second royal family, the Porans.

In 312 CE, prince Apot was crowned king Apot II he had always thought that Salembom deserved more land, and in 315 CE he went off to conquer the Miopian Bay and the Miopian forest from the Apolians, sadly before he could conquer more land he died of heart disease. Then more than 300 years of peace followed as the kings decided to concentrate on improving the lives of their citizens. In 654 CE a new king, king Shapermen III went off to conquest what is now Shinit Island, the Aloui forest, and the south of the Tlatian Lake. Shapermen’s successor, named Apoi I continued his work and conquered everything south of the Talian mountains, after which he would go to sign peace with the Apolians which had by then been pushed to the East of the Miopian forest. This ends the first era of great Hapangian expansion.

In the year 713 CE king Apoi I decided he had already expanded the frontiers of Salembom enough, and he decided to concentrate on the people, for 700 years the Pax Salembomian existed when the kings concentrated on the people, they built hundreds of entertainment centers, promoted culture, science, and the arts. But during this period they also adopted a policy of isolationism. On the year 1467 CE king Abouti III rose into power and decided to stop the isolationism that had been in place for hundreds of years and ending the Middle History of the country.

Late History

After all that time in Isolationism Salembom didn't know anything about the world outside its borders so it sent scouts to all corners of the world followed by merchants to create trade routes, as Salembom didn't have Feudalism it was a very desirable choice to Serfs that scaped, making it's population grow exponentially, many cities were founded in this time, among the most famous examples are: Redport, Greenport, and Sangue.

In the year 1583 CE King Saco VII rose to power and suddenly decided to implement feudalism on Salembom making almost everybody unhappy so they revolted, in the March rebellion several things changed, this saw the creation of The Senate, an organization of 127 members elected from all the corners of Salembom, if the Senate unanimously agreed the king could be deposed and would be replaced by any member of the Royal Family the senate decided, this also saw the name of the nation change to Zaberaz Hapang.

Many years of prosperity followed, Zaberaz Hapang made itself a trade powerhouse making it very rich.
