You do have a point. Many young people have great ideas, and many smaller parties are also good choices. I don't want India to have a political atmosphere like Pakistan, where there are 2-3 elected people and then a military coup. I want a party, which is fully secular, does not have ANY biases, a party which does not oppress its farmers, a party which does not make false promises on nuclear energy and actually gets the job done. A person who is not binded by money. Something like the Congress before Khalistan.
Naxalites are not a peasant uprising. They are simply puppets of Pakistan and China to destabilize India. In Pakistan, if you were a communist you probably would end up on the end of a rope. Naxalites routinely commit warcrimes and terrorist attacks, defending Naxalites is like defending Al-Qaeda. Naxals are literally the biggest terrorist group in the world. They attack civilians, they attack workers, they attack farmers, they attack electricity plants, and exploit their members. They recruit child soldiers and do pedophilic acts to children. Do not try to talk about Naxalites if you are not Indian.
I was interested in seeing your answer to the first half of BB's question, regarding leftists in the Indian military. Because if there are none, then why are you throwing around military coups as a good solution to the problem, despite you seemingly being concerned about India's stability?
I'm announcing that I am stepping down as a Founder nation of TLA effective immediately.
As some of you might know, my activity has been decreasing for quite some time now. Which is mainly due to university and the travel time to and from there. I was barely able to keep my nation from CTE'ing and doing the absolute bare minimum of my duties as a minister in the last few weeks. So after long consideration I will be stepping away from NS altogether. Which starts with selecting another Founder under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution. I am fully confident that my replacement which will be shortly announced by my Co-Founders will do a great job and help to continue to make TLA better every day! For the people wondering what this means for my cabinet portfolios, I will continue in those until the term is over and a new cabinet is elected.
I will forever cherish the memories I made here and the people I met. So thanks for everything!
I’ll probably end up repeating some of this when I give my State of the Assembly address next week, but I’d just like to say thank you for everything you’ve done for TLA, and especially for the help you’ve given me during my two terms as Secretary. You’ve been a great right hand man to bounce ideas off of, and your ministerial work in both Community Affairs and Recruitment has been invaluable. You will certainly be missed around here!
Dyl, it has been an honour and a pleasure serving with you. From your first message on the RMB to your work as an MGA and Speaker to your outstanding service as Minister of Recruitment to your service as Founder, you have made a huge impact on this region even if your time was more condensed than others. Your name will continue to ring out through this region for the rest of its existence and your positive impact will ripple across time and space both on NS and off of NS in the lives of those who you gave joy to. You'll be deeply missed.
Damn, another big member leaving. TLA has lost a couple big members now. I have only been here just over a year and active for just half of that. But Dyl has been a prominent member during my time here so far. I have no fear of members stepping up and that the future of TLA still has the potential to achieve great things. I never was an active player of NationStates. In my not so long time here, 2 years and a half or so (except a period of pause of some months), I haven't participated as much as other members of this community in building and maintaining it as nice as it is.
Yet, even I have noticed the time and effort of some of those brilliant few that stood up in my little routine activities here in the Region, and one of those amazing few nametags was you. Your remarkable existence deserves the braincells that will occupy some of my memory until biological death. Consider it a compliment..! Have the life you truthfully want and deserve!

I know I'm not in this region or anything etc. so feel free to disregard this post xD but personally I'd urge a vote against the GA resolution at vote. It's rushed, needs more work, and also partially plagiarised. I'd support a proposal like this in principle, but as I said on the forum: Firstly, 1.a mandates 'the right to be tested for serious illnesses the crime victim may have been exposed to during the act of the crime'. However, the exposure during that crime may have had nothing to do with the crime. For example, if someone tries to shoot someone at a mall but fails, and a bypasser happens to have a serious transmittible illness, the crime victim is likely to have been exposed to that serious illness during that crime, even to a bypasser having a serious transmittible illness had nothing to do with that murder attempt. Moreover, I am concerned by the use of the word 'may'. I may have been exposed to Transmittible Serious Illness 69420 because there is the off chance that my neighbour has it. That is unlikely, but I still 'may' have, and it is certainly within the realm of probability. This is impractical and cries for the moon.
1.c is also a meaningless requirement. While the accused cannot 'directly' contact the crime victim, they may do so 'indirectly'. For example, they may hire someone to pass a message to the accused, while this resolution stands in blissful ignorance. Moreover, I'm confused as to why the definition excludes those who are charged with 'another crime that occurred as a result from the same occurrence or incident'. In nations where self-defence is illegal, for example, a member state can exclude crime victims from their mandates if they make even the smallest effort at self-defence.

First of all, I'd like to thank Comrade Dyl for all of the work he's put into this community over the last two years. Dyl has been an excellent confidant and advisor to multiple Secretaries, as well as being one of the better Secretaries of recent times in his own right, and his presence in Assemblian government and our community will be sorely missed.
His departure from NS will leave a hole that will be difficult to fill, but begin to fill it we must.
The Founders began discussions over Dyl's replacement when he told us of his intention to resign just over a week ago, and the decision was swift. Founders must be active, diligent, and, above all else, unwaveringly loyal to our Assembly. We believe we have chosen a candidate that exemplifies those virtues.
The Founders have nominated Comrade Podria to join our ranks, and they have accepted our nomination. I am therefore opening a vote to confirm Comrade Pod as Founder as per Article II, Section 2.b of the Constitution of The Leftist Assembly.
World Assembly Citizens may vote in the poll over the next 3 days. Military Voting and Dual Citizens may vote on the RMB in the same period.

Dyl, we are all so sad to see you go. You were a role model to what an assemblian should be, and you were always there for your comrades through thick and thin. It’s bittersweet to see you go, as you will be dearly missed, but we all hope that whatever your future brings, may it be bright. I can’t express how grateful I am to have had an amazing nation like you in my presence. You really were one of our greatest and most loyal members and friends, and for that, you will be missed.
Although you greatly outlive my time on NS I don't think TLA would've been the same as it is now if it wasn't for your work thank you for your service.
