We started as a group of people from all across Valsora, feeling that their countries aren't serving the people well. They start making small towns and slowly build up an decide to choose Dach Lighen as there elected leader. with this, in 2030, Neuwland is formed. Neuwland is Nederdeutsche for, well, new land.

Neuwland had a civil war similar to the non-Valsoran one and all it did was set in stone what Neuwland would be, a social democracy.
Neuwland plans on being a power one day. In this electionless world, they plan on changing that. Also they elect this dude Garfield Wright, he's nice.
We have a factbook about this, but we are going to talk about this still because it's goddamn important, TIMMY. The Political war was not really a war and was more of a bunch of politicians shouting at each other. What happened in it isn't important, all you gotta know is that it led to the Neuwish Parliament having more power and Neuwland became an isolationist state.

Internal Matters

You might of noticed that Neuwland seems a bit... Arasean (Am I saying that right). That's strange because Neuwland doesn't seem to consist of too many Oriental looking people. There are many reasons for this. Neuwland is suppose to be a multi-ethic country made to house those who were repressed on their home country. Thus, a lot of immigrants from all over Valsora came to find a new life in Neuwland.
Most people had been fine with this fact for a while, but some started to suspect that Arasean get more than the rest of the people. In fact, The Prime Minister Wright was Arasean (VP Jefferson was Nonscian). This started the idea that Neuwland has started to prefer certain peoples over other peoples. A lot of people went out to protest this discrimination, but some people had a different idea.
Enter The Ladybugs. You might have heard about this group from the Political War. In that war, they actually took some lives to get their point across. After the isolationist one, it gave the Ladybugs a false sense of legitimacy. They heard about the protests and decided that those would work.
At a protest, PM Wright personally appeared to see what was going on. In his eyes, he didn't see any discrimination whatsoever in Neuwland, so he was willing to see what these people were talking about so he could fix it. The problem was that he decided to bring his guards with him (Wright always did). This made Ladybug member Shawn Morgan think that he was gong to open fire upon the crowd, so he chucked a flash bang toward PM Wright.
Henry was pretty far from Mr. Wright and the flash bang it some members in the crowd instead. This incident called for both protesters and government agents to declare the ladybugs as an enemy of the people and for anyone who claims to be a part of them to be arrested on spot.
Many people, including Wilhelmina Catel, where arrested a put on trial for terrorism, but some simply went into hiding. Henry Morgan became the new leader of the Ladybugs.
In other news, The Neuwish Parliament upon hearing about the discrimination, declared a new set of laws. One of them has stated that if you are to reject someone a job, you must give a reason for why. This along with a few other laws upset a few people, but the majority of people became satisfied.
With that out of the way, The Neuwish Parliament has 2 major issues to deal with. Gun Rights and Antarctica.

Also, this gave the Neuwish government an idea to set up a couple military training camps in Antarctica so they can train troops in a harsh environment.
