Continuing training
Following the recent attempts to up the standard of training in the NeoPunic military, a formal request has has been sent by the Sufet and the major generals for Lignuntia to assist in the training of the military (except TIPA, they’re training is kept secretive, mostly due to just how unethical it is raising soldiers from infancy training them how to kill and be infinitely loyal to the Sufet)

Question, who would be considered the oldest nation in rp? (Also, what is the world referred to as, and the continents?), for context, Qart Qart Hadasht is roughly 2000 years old in its current form, but counting the old counterpart, which the modern day is a very direct split off of it would be almost 3000 years old.

That would likely be Plaugetopia, existing in some form for about 5000 years iirc

The Situation with the Rockers in control of Laurens and conflict between the R.R.M and Royal Talimanian Guard has spiraled as the R.R.M forces storm and destroy the remainder of the Laurens State Guard. Recordings of firey speeches made by the apparent leader of the R.R.M, of which who's name is currently unknown. Currently the R.R.M is working on securing a proper source for it's weapons and is apparently advocating for a grace period (That will last till tomorrow IRL( before full aggressions rage on. The Kingdom has, begrudgingly, agreed to this as a way to better prepare on this part aswell.

The situation in Gaika is currently majorly unknown as early into their seizure of the state the Ferkists cut off most communication lines inside the state reaching to the rest of the nation. Along with this the borders are apparently strictly fortified. The Ferkists however have stated with their, limited government only communication lines that they will abide by the grace period aswell...

The Early Morning Haze washed over Castra Marti in a cacophony with birdsong and the early morning jeers of the Legionaries reporting to Attention for their Several Mile Long Run. The Military Base soon burst into life with Noise, the whirr of Jet Engines and the Smell of Morning Tea as the Legatii Conversed. On this very morning Castra Marti would see it's ever Deployment launched and everyone knew it, but not the details.

The Jielcza had already suited up in their Uniforms specially Designated and Created for this Mission, the Women wore a Reproduction of the Matriarchy's Combat Uniform whereas the men wore more ragtag Uniforms akin to a Militia, this was no fashion statement but a lieu to the Statement "All Warfare is based on Deception." The Elite Warriors had already been awake for several Hours Training, their Uniforms noticeably had no Lignunti Insignia or Markings and they Wielded much older Kalashnikowa Rifles from the days of the Monarchy straight out of Storage, this was a guise to look like the part as well as have a reliable and Rugged Weapon with the 7.62x39 Cartridge that was in abudance in Lignuntia. They reported to their Commander in Mission Control to receive a final briefing before their mission.

They walked in the Dark Building, the Imperial Eagle with the words "Missio Imperii" underneath was mounted on the Wall, the atmosphere was dark so much so that one could feel they were in a void or a dark Empty Forest. The Top Brass of Missio Imperii at Castra Marti were seated around a Long Table with emotionless and professional facial expressions, they payed little mind to them until...

The Aide to Commander Maximus announced "Dominus, the Jielcza are here" as he Saluted, the Jielcza saluted back and walked towards the Commander to whence they bowed and hailed "Ave Imperator" ("Imperator" in this Context meaning someone in charge, not a Emperor) and he replied "At Ease Milii." Their postures relaxed and their rifles on slings they awaited the Brief from Commander Maximus. The Commander Begun "Miles, your mission is finally here so I will provide a final briefing, you will be deployed over the LZ at 05:30 via a Transport Aircraft, at this point your command structure will be set out with your Dux, Privatii etcetera... You will have no Outside Aid due to the Fortress like nature of the Pestilentii States, your objective is clear; to breach the border using your unconventional and shock warfare capabilities, as you would be aware of, the manner of which you conduct this mission is fluid given the nature of Jielcza Operations but you are to Advance to Urbe Seluk and find a Base of Operations, you will get there by whatever means you see fit and within a week you will Strike the Target in her compound, you may eliminiate the Target by whatever means necessary and send a message. Upon a successful mission you will exit by your own accord and travel to the Designated Exfiltration Point."

A Private Marcellus rubs his jaw and asks "Permission to speak, Imperator?" which is granted "You may, Briefly.", Pvt. Marcellus jests "Cyanide Capsules sir? That assumes failure."

Imperator Maximus nods "I expect nothing less from the Jielcza, but in case of capture you are to Self-Terminate immediately, your implants provided are to be bitten down on and can be done so with ease, if all else fails you Self-Terminate by any means, if captured you will suffer a fate worse than death, and not even your loyalty to the Republic could withstand what they would do, am I clear Miles?"

They All Acknowledge and with that the Mission is to begin, they are all provided with the Necessary Equipment for the nature of the mission, particularly camping and Hunting Tools for sustenance over long periods of time. And alas, the Snake Eaters are ready to deploy.

The Jumpmaster commands "JIELCZA READY YOURSELF, LATCH ON AND JUMP NOW, PROCEDITE!" and alas the Jielcza drop off out from the Cargo Ramp and Paradrop to the Ground, all the essentials they cant drop with being dropped in Padded Crates.

The Operators landed and swiftly detached from their Parachutes, quickly assembling their Weapons and Opening the Crates with Pry-Bars, the Lead of the Jielcza on Mission Longinus Sdazepe reports "Snake Eaters have Landed, Over." and from that Operatio Iovis Fulmen is ago.

They begin their move towards the Border, to attack at night.

Due to a sudden increase in piracy (most definitely not connected to the government in any way) near the outer islands and the water beyond, several NeoPunic warships are to be stationed in the areas where the piracy is taking place, namely in the area between NeoPunic waters and Archevinia.

The government of Qart Qart Hadasht has made it clear that the purpose of the large amount of warships is to halt the piracy, and to protect the large amount of resource gathering ships and outposts.

The Entire reason the Civil War and subsequent partition occurred of Lignuntia was due to the Political Instability in the Wake of the New Republic, the pathetic Government of the Unitary Party under Kaspar Lehrer failed to appeal to anybody and instead of sowing divisions between the Lignuns like the Unitary Manifesto claims; instigated tensions further and led to the Elites of the East to take Initiative and call up their Legions to revolt against the Magna Excercitus, the people were sheep to rally behind one or the other and each believed their backing power was good for them. I personally hold the belief that Lignuntia should have remained isolationist but of course that was impossible with the Short-Lived Senatorial Republic and that Foolish Aquilanus.

But what is done is done, the False Monarchy is dead and their supporters are being hunted down and dealt with, Constantinople is my hands as it was Sultan Mehmed or my Namesake. What Lignuntia truly needs is peace and stability, it saddens me to think How Beautiful and Prosperous Lignuntia could have been had we Stopped Aquilanus and kept our Kingdom Strong, a Fair Democracy and a Bustling and Peaceful Society but the past is the past and I must salvage what remains. If I can create Peace between Aquitania and Constantinople and keep the Imperiums' at bay then perhaps I can finally keep stability in the Region.

For one, I must destroy the Draconian Laws that the "Caesar" implemented and allow Free movement between the Lignunti States, disband the Grenztruppen and Punish those who commited atrocities in Iuno. I believe that peace and Socialism is the only way to achieve this, to create equality and prosperity there is only one option!

Aquitania finds this request suspicious at the least and questions the motives of Tyrus, the request is denied and Lignuntia (Secret) will take up to Investigating the Area around Archenivia and Qart Qart Hadasht.

PARDUS L9A2 Upgrade Package

The Magna Excercitus and Corpus Navalis are now committing to a Joint Upgrade Package for their PARDUS L9A2 Main Battle Tanks in collaboration with Rhenus who make the Tanks.
Recognising that the PARDUS makes up the Majority of the MBT Force their increasingly Obsolescence and Inferiority of Tanks from other Nations worries the Defence Department.

The main Overhaul will be the Increased Protection in Vulnerable Areas, A Safe area for Ammunition Storage if ignited (A Blast door) and Protection for Hard Kill and Soft Kill Measures e.g ATGM's and Bombs. The Targeting Systems are also to be overhauled and a New type of Laser Guided Missile to be fired by the Cannon is in development for testing alongside a Refit for the Coaxial Machine Guns from the 5.56 TMG3 to the 7.62 GPMG.
