The Laser-Wielding Commune of Intergalactic Penguins Amazing, it must be by tenure, because I'm now the successor. Hilarious. Edit: Ah, no, I see you granted it to me. Thank you and I definitely won't make a play for power. |
The Pony Principality of Princess Luna We have once more returned from the moon. |
The Principality of Trotterdam So... should I give power back? |
The Pony Principality of Princess Luna Entirely up to you; I think you've done a fine job. I would like to be a successor at least for continuity reasons though. |
The Principality of Trotterdam Fair enough! I think four successors should be apocalypse-proof. If anyone disagrees on who I appointed or in what order, let us know! |

The Pony Principality of Princess Luna Thank you! And, neat, bigpip. |

The Vermillion Republic of Urmanian So...anyone doing the wonder game? |
The Soviet Republic of Free Stalliongrad I'm trying to understand how it works. But is it a group thing or does it only affect individual nations? |
The Vermillion Republic of Urmanian You can appoint other players as builders to your wonder, it seems. |
The Soviet Republic of Free Stalliongrad But did they have to use the thing I hate the most? Mathematics? |
The Vermillion Republic of Urmanian I'm terrible at math, but it's not really that hard. It's like a buggy sudoku. |
The Principality of Trotterdam The puzzles are okay, but I lack the imagination to come up with a cool wonder :( |
The Vermillion Republic of Urmanian Could just do Canterlot Castle, maybe? |
The Soviet Republic of Free Stalliongrad Well, I created my wonder. If anyone wants to contribute and is good at sudoku, they are welcome. Otherwise, Gulag! |
The Principality of Trotterdam I'm not Canterlot! I'm Pony Netherlands. ...What do these resources DO? What's the difference between them? |
The Vermillion Republic of Urmanian You can combine the different resources to craft increasingly rare items. The wonder with the most and the rarest items will end up the winner. Note how the NPC wonders each only have one item, but it's Legendary. |
The Vermillion Republic of Urmanian The two communist superpowers of Pony Lands decided to build a giant palace, but after constructing a couple stone walls and arranging a pile of books they got tired of economic calculations and quit. This says something about society. |
The Principality of Trotterdam Hey, my wonder is currently #9 for World Assembly Picks. #2 not counting the NPC ones. Gotta keep at it and figure out more rare recipes... |
The Principality of Trotterdam Wow. Crafting epic items takes forever, even if you know the recipe. Also, the amount of resources you generate depends on your nation. Not just the bonus resources, but the ones you explicitly select, too. My country seems particularly bad at producing metals. Anyone feel like donating to the cause? Though really, I need recipes more than I need extra resources. |
The Soviet Republic of Free Stalliongrad I'm just waiting for them to say something in the appropriate topic. I hate wasting resources! |
The Principality of Trotterdam One trick is to stalk the biggest wonders and keep an eye on their events. If they craft an item, you'll see the recipe it used. However, you have to check in constantly in order to catch the message before it's pushed off the bottom of the list, since the news feed only shows the last 20 events for each wonder. And it's problematic to keep up to date when you have to, y'know, sleep... |
The Laser-Wielding Commune of Intergalactic Penguins I'll contribute, I like Kakuro, but not this whole combination game. What do you need? |
The Principality of Trotterdam Eh, any contribution is appreciated, but like I said, resources aren't actually my biggest problem right now. My main issue is that unlike other players, I'm not trying to simply test every combination possible (wow that would be boring), but rather trying to build only those items that are at least vaguely appropriate for my nation. (Seriously, I've spied on how to create an epic-tier "Large Pile of Hamster-Infested Scrap Metal", but why would I want one? The more mundane Fireworks Show it's crafted from sounds more fun to attend.) I suppose metal would be the most valuable to me, since I only produce it at about half the efficiency of other resources myself. But this also depends on what your nation is best at producing, which you can only find out by experimenting. |
