The Mountain Song of Dwarf

Account from the Royal Repository of Assembled Tolkien Memes

Some argue that hobbits are anarchists, for they have no king.

But Gondor had no king, either, until a small squad of hobbits undertook a quest to install one.

Hobbits are CIA.

hello there

Pt-20230412 system

Our language

by Pt-20230412 system

Language of the PT-20230412 System.

Used to be language of the northern kingdom Telera, but after fall of The Ha Empire (1333 BC) on the southern half of the planet it de facto became a planetary language (the Szeżesi language is too primitive and not well known. The Hī language is still used on the southern parts, although it lacks many words such as for computers spaceships etc, mainly the proto-hī is used to religious texts of the southrons).

How to speak 'hż'

This is the hardest and non replaceable consonant in the language. But I've found a solution how to easy speak it:

Say 'Hawarzhen' (Hawar country) as-is, but speak 'zh' as z and h and not as zh. Congratulations. 'hż' is the sound between z and e.

Usually a word has all wovels (of most of them) the same, like:

enen - correct
enén or enaen are correct too
but 'enan' or 'enon', 'enin' are not correct.

Accent

Very important part of the language is the accent. Our writing system handles accents very well, latin and its descents sadly don't. Like e'nelener is not ene'lener. Exceptions are syllabes starting with â and û. Like ûbara "ship". Another exception is that hard constants (at, ż, hż) do not need to have the same vowels before and after them.

Уьбаразае лїхяс даьтеьммя - I have a dark ship

Cases

Patian has 16 cases. There are the latin names.

Nominativus- <default>
Genetivus (of who) - -zae

1000000000 - naht

-- Ordinal Numbers --

By adding the -(i)ss suffix

ehtess - first
ihtess - second
mihtiss - twelveth
ihtiriss - hundredth

Exceptions:

heti - sixth
ahtin - ninth

soeze zehtiss - vierte reich

Нерсоі! Ляссеь суьммю? - Hey you! What's up?

Tenses

There are 5 tenses.

Near Past (<1year) - -ssû
Distant Past (>1year) - -ssi

Present (yes. only one present) - <default>

Near Future (<1year) - -mt
Distant Future (>1year) - -mes

Where to use with and where to use and

There are two ways to say 'and':
1. The -tûmm suffix meaning 'and'
2. The comitativus case with the -tuss suffix meaning 'with'

So, the first is used with non-living words like:
Телєата лїнертуьмм - justice and law
Уьбара стеьтуьмм - a ship and a tower

The second one is used within living things and when there is one living and one not:

Лєтісімм суьпамеьн Баьтмантусс - superman and (with) batman are fighting
Саізох уьбарімм я уьбараїтусс - i and my boat sail east (here is the allative used, very useful)

Conjugation of S-type verbs

The S-type verbs are borrowed from the szeżesi language. They all end in -tis and are conjugated different than our native verbs.

Example: datis - to move

1. data -ta
2. datat -tat
3. datos -tos
1 pl. datam -tam
2. datamt -tamt
3. datmos -tmos

Imperativus: date -te

Past (szeżesi has only one past and one future tense):

1. datan -tan
2. datant -tant
3. datont -tont
1 pl. datast -tast
2. datint -tint
3. datist -tist

Future:

1. daba - ba
2. dabat -bat
3. dabos -bos
1 pl. dabant -bant
2. dabantur -bantur
3. dabantos -bantos

Passive speech

Normal verbs: -wiss

S-type verbs: -ter

Zolli datoster - the world is moving or
Zolli dato ist - the world is moving itself

Both forms are correct.

Pronomen reflexivum

Nominativus: -
Genetivus (of who): ist
Dativus (to who): ast
Instrumentalis (with (tool) who): est
Locativus (about who): est
Ablativus (from where): ezt
Allativus (to where): esm
Abessivus (without who): ism
Causalis (because of): ism
Comparativus (like who): -
Comitativus (with who): ast
Essivus (as who): -
Sociativus (with who): ast
Inessivus (in who): aest
Aversivus (skipping who): aes
Vocativus (o!): -

Датаьус нерзае даьтеьмм аест - His house has him inside itself.

Уьбаразае езт тільєдатонт воїнєн. - A robot has pulled out a boat from hilself.

Comitativus or Sociativus

They anwser the same question, so which one to use.

So: comitativus is used with plural number: ûbaratuss - with a boat
And the sociativus is used with plurals: ûbarartaess - with boats

That is because the 'r' making plural is often not hearable. In that case the case is the major plural marker.

Perfect tense

To mark a perfect tense, use the tilie- prefix.

Уьбаразае тілєдаьтеьммяссу

Бажлїтажсі Шежесі - the Szeżesi republic

Times of the week

edeże - day
n'edeżer - week

Нехтен едежер недежер даьтеьмм - The week has seven days

Monday - edeże ehtesszae (day of the one)
Tuesday - edeże Waethzae (day of Waeth)
Wednesday - edeże bowaethzae (day after the day of Waeth)
Thursday - edeże Tâjaezae (day of Tâjae)
Friday - edeże botâjaezae (day after the day of Tâjae)
Saturday - edeże tenterzae (day of the king)
Sunday - edeże samhali (the ultimate day, dies ultimus)

Articles

The articles are used in some dialects, but are not official part of the language.

Assuming to the northern dialect, there are ten basic articles:

Further Past{
Indefinite: żti
Definite: żtisi
}
Near Past{
Indefinite: sti
Definite: stisi
}
Present:{
Indefinite: ti
Definite: tisi
}
Near Future{
Infedinite: uti
Definite: utizi
}
Further Future{
Indefinite: asti
Definite: astina
}

Each article gets the same conjugations as the noun it follows.

Standard dialect: Акахамнержі Тентержі аеранер суьммссуь
Northern dialect: Стісі Акахамнержі стісі Тентержі стісі аеранер суьммссуь

Both mean 'The letter to King Akahamner is'

Names

In Elnermô, each name is composed from three clusters:

1. The name, that's a normal name
2. The father's (or mother's in case of a woman) name + zoh (son/daughter of)
3. The city speaker was born in + zah (ablative marker, means 'of', 'from')

So, an example name (taken from "A letter to the king Akahamner") is:
Лянтамнер Хяйлямнерхок Ельнермоьзах
Lantamner Hżalamnerhok Elnermôzah (romanized)

So, this means:
Lantamner son of Hżalamner from Elnermô (the Lantamner comes from it)
