IC: Upon trying to make port in Oriab the Viking fleet is assaulted by a similar force although this time instead of a hurricane the ships appear from a strange sandstorm at sea. It appears that Lemuria has warned its ally in the war against Barbaria, Oriab, of the approaching wounded Viking fleet. Once again the Viking ships and aircraft take heavy losses this time at the hands of the Oriabian ghost fleet. The "sand" eating away at the hulls and bodies of the ships and aircraft. This time the losses are even heavier as the Vikings thought they could gain save harbor in Oriab. Once again the remainder of the Viking force is faced with two options, flee to a safe harbor or be destroyed. |

After their return, the remaining goods were delivered in time. A map was made on their activity and who their assailants are, with accompanied information about how they fight and where their forces are most likely stationed. King Ragnar Lobrok I. in spite from his near-death trauma, was able to find a beloved wife, that he kidnapped from Valenborn. In all actuality, he kidnapped King Luther's daughter, the princess of Valenborn. Not only does the King declare his victory over Valenborn in terms of war, but has even been able to get his foot in the door that is the Royal Family. The Valen princess, Elisia Afrodias II. was proclaimed the Queen of the Vikings. In the coming months, they find out that she is with his child, and the descendant of the King will make a path for the Vikings that his father couldn't finish. Until then, King Ragnar Lobrok will remain the King of the Vikings. |
Aljuk Protests Ever since the implementation of Aljukian culture, conflict between them and native Tritrans have begun escalating to whole new levels. After slavery was abolished, the Aljuk people were granted the same rights as Tritrans, and with these accompanied freedoms is the exception of discrimination, which has become a very big issue in Tritra. Many Aljuks are denied employment, or have lost their employment because of racial principles. Many conflicts between Aljuks and Tritran police officers have also escalated the tensions. With all these minor disputes hurdling to a major event. As of yesterday morning, a massive protest was broadcasted on international media outlets from an incident involving a Tritran police officer causing severe harm to an Aljuk. After being chocked to death, the Aljuk died from lack of oxygen. One thing lead to another, and the whole intention spread like wildfire over the internet. A massive organization known as the "Aljuk Protection League" has commenced a large, nationwide protest in opposition to the situation, and the discrimination Aljuks face on a daily basis. Primarily these protests mostly happen in big cities in Tritra. The first weeks of the protest proved to be peaceful and progressive, however; violence broke out as Tritran police were ordered to observe and limit the protest. In Aluris, Tritra; a line of police officers lined up to prevent the protest from nearing the Capitol. Determined to reach it, the protesters charge the police to break their line. The incident escalated dramatically, and fights between Aljuks and Tritran police officers broke out. Tear gas and water hoses were used to suppress the riots, but it only made things worse. Within days, Protestors turned into full on rebels as they begin damaging public, and private property, on a large scale. Hundreds of deaths have been recorded, and the riots have organized into a full-scale succession war back in Aljuk Isle. The attempt to succeed failed after the President called in the military and wiped out the dissenters, but because of this day; Aljuks and Tritrans can never look at each other the same. |

SIC: Upon the Volohkian and Garnelian teams finally arrive at the rendezvous point after days of travel by camel. They find that the rendezvous point is a stretch of beach right next to an abandoned airfield along Oriab's coast. The teams set up defensive positions and wait to receive their guest. The hours of waiting are tense as every minute that passes by is another minute that they could be discovered. Fortunately after waiting several hours what appears to be an old freighter is spotted making its way to them. Upon scanning the ship for markings with binoculars they are able to determine that it's Oriabian. At least originally it was Oriabian as the team cannot exactly confirm the ship's registration numbers with Oriabian records. After about another hour the freighter gets closer and it is clearer that this isnt a typical freighter but some sort of old landing ship that has been repurposed for transport or trade purposes. The landing ship beaches itself and the bow lowers to become a ramp onto the beach. The cargo of this ship that the team sees roll onto the beach is bewildering to say the least. Rolling off the landing ramp and onto the beach is a man with graying hair, gray scruffy beard wearing aviators, a bright red hawaiian shirt with slacks, and brown leather slip-on shoes driving a brand new, cherry red Chryslus Corvega convertible with red and white leather interior. Once on the beach the man turns the car off and gets out to meet the teams. He gives the ship a wave and it retracts its ramp and begins to un-beach itself and return to the sea. "Howdy ladies and germs! It's nice to finally get the old band back together. Now let's have a little powwow so I can fill you in an all the details." Says the man gesturing for the teams or at least their leaders to come and speak with him. |

Instead of using back-breaking labor in the mines, heavy machinery and large transportation trucks have been introduced into the industry. The Vikings' weapons have also began advancing with the introduction of heavy-to-medium tanks and counter-ballistic defenses. |

"Revolution of the Pale!" Seeing Valenborn's awful defeat against the Vikings, and the country left in ruin; many members of the Valen Nobility has presented their case to the King's Court that his leadership is poor, and is cowardly to battle. He failed to protect the country, protect its people, and attempt to rebuild the country. In evidence of this challenge, the House of Pale has aligned themselves with Nobility, and performed a rebellion against the current King. Since the country is weak, and the King's closet allies have turned their backs to him; the take-over was successful on the Pale's part. The King was properly ousted and the House of Pale now reign over the nation. After the coup, a new Constitution was implemented. This granted a new system to the country's line of succession and the extension of the monarch's power over the country. The new Constitution grants a succession system that permits the Council, which is a membership of representatives from different provinces of the country, the ability to appoint the next Monarch who must qualify certain traits in order to be considered a proper leader. These qualification include age, reputation, and skills. This Monarch may be of any House, and can be of any gender. The Council has elected Queen Veronica Pale XIII. She is a renown reformer, understands economics, has five years of military service, and is the Matriarch of the Pale. However, its known that she is extremely militant and expansionist. A matriarch has been established in Valenborn. |

A welcome to the throne present as it were. But I get to use the car before it gets handed over. But here is the plan. I drive this sweet ride right into Baharna to a site with Oriabian govnet access. Half of you guys will pile into the car with me and will provide me cover in case we run into any trouble. While I'm doing that the Iron Sheik and his forces across the country start their little revolution with the Iron Sheik's main force attacking Baharna from the southwest. Meanwhile the other half of you guys will stay here and secure this airfield to cover our exit because once the Oriabian data is sent to the UTF a plane from the Steppe will come to pick us up and evac us out of this pop stand. Seeing Valenborn at the state that it is, and how weak its leadership is. The Kingdom of Belfi will officially cease all trade with Valenborn, and withdraw itself from all Valenborn interests. Belfi will also cease all communication between it and Valenborn. The Valenborn embassy located in Belfi has been shut down and all nationals have been deported from the country and safely returned to their country. Belfi urges the rest of the Aoerians to withdraw their connections with Valenborn, and join Belfi in reforming the continent to its former glory through peaceful means. Valenborn can't even handle Vikings, let alone could it hold itself with their own problems. |
