Seems your citizenship lapsed due to forum inactivity, and when that happens a nation in the map can either be purged or made a NPC (non-player character; this is for when it's deemed the nation has made significant lore contributions to the world canon).

There's always the possibility of applying for citizenship again and sending a new Mapplication though!
