In a valley between mountains, you'll find yourself a most peculiar sight. She sprung up in 2032, following the 'libertarian revolt' that roared like a fire through the continental united states. A one Albert Erastus, a charismatic young man with a then small following, being a gnostic sect which stressed real world deeds and penitence, saw in the situation of upheaval opportunity, though none of his 'family' would know what their actions would provoke. They established a commune of sorts, hidden away in Appalachia from the eyes of the wretched, "servile" commonfolk, though Albert did not stop giving his regular sermons, and steadily his following grew, attracting alike individuals; preachers, and their flowery words of violent end time prophecy served only to seduce more.

By the time the New Peoples Union's intelligence branch caught hold of the guerrilla training held under the cover of night, and large stockpiles of firearms, it had been written into history their fate; by 2035 a war of real independence had started. Or a merciless, large scale terrorist attack, depending on who you ask to tell you the tale. The war lasted for two and a half years, with both sides suffering great causalities, however due to a policy utilized of "infiltration and disruption," a sleight-of-powers enabled a rather forced 'peace agreement,' at least on paper. 700,000 acres of land were secured, and the N.P.U withdrew their forces.

We now find ourselves in 2041, rumor has it the C.C. has launched an embryonic but ambitious biological, and chemicals weapons division, following a string of disappearances of N.P.U citizenry along the border. Tensions are at all time high, and we find ourselves at a standstill. Neither side has the initiative, knowing what the repercussions could be, but this has not halted the overt dissemination of literature among the New Peoples Union by intelligence' forces within the governing body of what has been nicknamed "Cains Conspirators," after the biblical first Murderer who is canonized as an expression of the promethean drive of man in Alberts' doctrine.

Some say the mans mind is beginning to chase away from him, and former spouses have come forward attesting to strange occult rites, polygamy, and attempts at "engineering the human psyche;" the more titular "trauma" may suffice, in this latter regard...
