Any business/organization found guilty of pay inequality shall pay the compensation to the individual as deemed right by the legal system. The business/organization will also pay a hefty fine of 500,000 to the Government of Fraxhemark. In case of inability to pay the said fine or compensation, the business/organization's assets shall be mortgaged/seized or frozen. Paid Parental Leave Act : Parents have the right to 52 weeks leave with maternity subsistence allowance, of which 36 weeks can be divided between the mother and the father according to individual wishes. The law states that an employer must provide Parental Leave Pay to an eligible employee who: has a newborn or recently adopted child and has worked for you for at least 12 months before the expected date of birth or adoption. The law is applicable to men/women and straight as well as LGBTQ+ couples. The Working Time Act : It gives workers the right to at least 4 weeks in paid holidays each year, rest breaks, and rest of at least 11 hours in any 24 hours; restricts excessive night work and a day off after a week's work. Since excessive working time is cited as a major cause of stress, depression and illness, the purpose of the directive is to protect people's health and safety. The average working time should not exceed 48 hours for each 7-day period unless the worker sends in a special written request to his employer and the government for extending his work hours. There shall be free health assessments for night workers. Night workers who risk health can be given guarantees.
