Hello, Communist Bloc. It's me, Mike, the leader of the Unified Soviet State Republic. I have bad news, as I just have been informed:

The Unified Soviet State Republic's second largest nuclear power plant, the Aniv Power Station has been detected overheating by the Chief of Nuclear Power, Favnov, while he conducting research there.

The power plant's overheating can lead to many things, such as a nuclear explosion 6x the force of the Tsar Bomba. The explosion of the power plant will also lead to 1/5 of the USSR's electrical grid having no power, scientists estimate.

In the mean time, local police have been evacuating the nearby cities, but what my main concern is how this will look on the international spotlight. I has also declared a state of emergency for the country, as the explosion is estimated by my top scientists to be one of the most destructive ever in world history.

Citizens are being evacuated into nearby bunkers, however officials do not think it will be enough to protect the 2.1 billion people at risk in the country, and the other countries that border my nation.

IF YOU ARE A NATION BORDERING THE UNIFIED SOVIET STATE REPUBLIC, TAKE ACTION.
your citizens may not survive the nuclear fallout after the explosion

nah, nothing happened, just got burnt out on a lot of things in TCB and decided to switch my "main" region so to speak, I still hang around somewhat in TCB (particularly in the discord and what not). I imagine most of you RMB only folks won't really be seeing much of me unless I decide to come back again some day (though I do still have a nation in the region so my citizenship isintact Wasc). so if any of you contact me some day, feel free to give me a telegram

That would be fine for us, however the explosion hasn't happened, yet. My top scientist Andrew Alashki estimates that the blast will happen in the next 48 hours, so you can deliver the supplies right now. Most of the population is in our state of the art bunkers, with food to hold out for the next 2 years, so we don't need to evacuate, except for the people in the Omsk, Tomak, Novosibirsk, Altai, and the Kemerovo Oblasts.

The People’s Republic of Liberza is happy to provide supplies alongside The United Socialist States of Soviet Kem. These supplies include gas masks, food and water, hazmat suits, as well as a couple hundred troops to help support the families who may be impacted by these explosions that are rumored to occur in the next 48 hours and to help citizens of surrounding nations and the USSR’s citizens itself keep calm. We send our deepest prayers that the USSR will receive as little casualties as possible.

Feniks Uorden, Commander in Chief of the People’s Republic of Liberza.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Science have decided to send a team of 40 experts and officials in order to help Soviet officials assess the potential damage and attempt to stop any incidents from occurring. Along with the team several supplies are being sent these include medical supplies, food and water, hazmat suits, gas masks, anti-rediation tablets, and other items. An additional 20 rescue helicopters are being sent in order to ensure all civilians are evacuated to safety. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is dispatching more aircraft to evacuate UFROEian Nationals back to UFROE, the embassy in the Unified Soviet State Republic is also being closed indefinitely with all staff and officials being withdrawn to UFROE, all of this simply as safety measures. If the worst is to come UFROE will be ready to provide further assistance in any forms it can.

Out of roleplay now; I have good news! The current Security Council proposal, “Repeal ‘Condemn The Black Hawks’” has more votes against than for! The difference is more than 1,700 between the number of votes “for” and “against”.

Ftr, Belarusball KR should not be commended because they're bad OOC and don't deserve an in-game award (which condemnation is). As for Liberza's remark...no, they haven't really changed. They've swept up the worst of their publicly visible mess, but they're still very much bad in more ways than one.

There's a resolution now to repeal the condemnation of the Black Hawks, and of course I voted against it. They are warmongers and deserve to be condemned.

Also, to my knowledge, they are the only region to have multiple condemnations at once.

i'm not saying "warmongers" is wrong, but based on your phrasing, i feel like you may not realize that 1. condemnations are essentially awards 2. the proposal was written in a fairly bad faith attempt to take away one of tbh's awards and 3. the official vote recommendation is against is because we're quite good allies with them and want them to keep that award

The Capital Supporters of Liberza

The fact that’s its a reward is weird since usually being condemned wouldn’t be a good thing, but since not a lot of regions get that i guess it sort of makes sense

commends are "good job you did Good In Character Things well" and condemns are "good job you did Bad In Character Things well." they're both acknowledgements for playing a role especially well
