The United States is a socially progressive country. The UN indoctrinates us with its bullshit agenda.

"Unlike the failures of socialism, the failures of capitalism are not endemic of the system, but to those who interfere with it to forward half baked sociopolitical theory. From the time of the first American millionaires till now, 80% of global poverty steadily evaporated, and the remaining 20% is not because of badly distributed resources, but badly distributed ideology that threatens to reverse all of the gains made in the last century for the sake of antihuman ideology that tells them that there are too many people, that they must be heavily culled for the sake of the planet with what is left scratching a meager existence in a pre-industrial desert with their bare hands while a very select few enlightened ones living in first world luxury look down on us in smug satisfaction."

Why else do you think the establishment is trying so hard to supress people, both everyday and public figures, who are standing up against exactly this? It's making them money from the current situation, and people trying to speak out against their exploitation threatens that.

Today's lunch special: Meatloaf and fried green tomatoes.

Now about quantum computing.
In 2019 Google demoed a 53 qubit device about the size of a commercial fridge that made a football stadium sized supercomputer farm look like an abacus.
They are set to premier a 256 qubit device by the end of 2023, and are being supplemented by the CIA's private investment arm.

Canada is already making use of a small scale machine to address some of its own infrastructure problems.

All told so far, private American IT has put about 1.5 billion into quantum R&D so far, and the CCP has sunk a cool billion into its own efforts, and without knowing how much Google will share between the two, it is a complete toss up who gets on line with it first.

Governments around the world are sitting on years of stolen but still encrypted files.
Quantum computing is going to reinvent cryptology, and intelligence gathering, making anything and everything duplicable and readable without none being the wiser.
It is about to become a truly brave new world out on the information superhighway with most of us relegated to horse and buggy while the authorities rewrite our world at will in real time and we barely notice so much as a deja vu for a glitch.

FREEDOM IS AN ILLUSION

There is nothing illusive about causality.
Choices are made by us, and for us, and hindsight will show that we benefit from both.

Tyranny is being held exclusively to either a standard of order, or of chaos, regardless of which one best fits the moment, and life after all, is a construct of moments.

No need to choose.
I have had cherry vanilla ice cream. Yum.
I chose peach myself.
I love almost everything peach flavored from tea, soda, shine, to ice cream.

I would claim to be shocked, dismayed, or disturbed, but my upbringing taught me a long time ago that the American Left sees people as wholly expendable, and the worse circumstances are, the more expendable they become.
This is a staple of many schools of socialism.
It is far easier to liquidate people, than improve the environment that they must try to survive in.

I am starting to really like Senator Manchin.
He has been a surprising and refreshing thorn to the extreme left leading his party.

There is a an almost endless selection of tracks to chose from depending on whose standard of right wing you are using, and what music genre you prefer.
Even traditionally left wing anthems have been appropriated by the right here and there.

Here is something to start with.

It's sad to know that by the time they grow up, the meaning of any form of freedom will probably be completely unknown. I don't really have any hope for much anymore. I'd say we have a few years left, if that.

I really don’t have much sympathy for Americans. They elected Biden as President when he promised to undo all that Trump had accomplished. Now they are unhappy with the policies that Biden promoted. Biden opposed fossil fuels, now fuel prices have increased. Biden opposed Trump’s border wall, now immigration has increased. Biden promise big new programs, now the dollar is inflated. Biden told anecdotes about how he influenced a prosecutor and the leaders in Ukraine, now he is sending billions to aid that nation. Perhaps the Biden voters did not listen to his campaign promises? They got what they desired.

Anchillas wrote:Ah well, looks like the Philippines just screwed themselves over. Why in the world would they even think to elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who is the literal son of a previous Filipino Dictator. And the fact that he won in a landslide just makes this election all the more suspicious, and I would not be surprised if it was rigged.

Was Jimmy Carter or another of his ilk there to observe the election process? What’s next, the election of Tommy Suharto in Indonesia?
