We have successfully escorted the armored infantry support automaton storage into the drop site designated by a Colombian military general. We ask why he referred himself as commander of the complex militia but no response has been given.

New objective is the scouting of the border of a potential remnant government of the EU. Mission shall be completed.
_________

Sub note: it seems some kind of group of people may have spotted us. Orders were not to fire at them so we simply used a light flasher to stun them and get them to move away. Approaching border soon:

// ACTION report //

Team Omegon has entered Calption and has equipped heavy clothing in an attempt to hide their chassis. - infiltration day 1

Local criminal gang has tried to rob the team and had to be taken care of with heavy melee weapons as to not waste ammo - infiltration day 2

General border continues to be explored and no more contacts have been seen. It seems that they really have gotten rid of their military. - infiltration day 3

Civilians have discovered the team and have forced a quick getaway, turbo power at 79%. Estimated government awareness at a 40% with the rate increasing. So far we have reached their northern border. Infiltration day 4

[No report for 6 days]

Team omegon was forced to act and save some civilians trapped in a sinkhole caused by a prewar mine. Dead civilian was discovered as the cause of the mine going off. Moving to local hidden rearmament cashe to get better weapons and armor. - infiltration day 10

I can't really RP a response to any of these, so go ham, I promise a response at the end of infiltration.

I know.

The plan is one final post and you will respond to however your people would to a sudden increase in reports of a team of 6 foot armored robots in cloaks roaming your nation.

The “end” will be likely relate to the fact there are warlords and raiders relatively close to you.

Report case: Contacts established

Day of infiltration - 19

Team Omegon reports a successful mapping of late areas within the territory of organization designated Calption. Amongst the actions taken by the automaton team include:
Saving a couple civilians
Getting detected couple times and having to retreat
Defeating criminals
____________________

Of the actions taken, the final one is the most worrisome. It appears that during day 17 a warband of sorts was approaching a small and relatively isolated community which is under the Calption government. The team was in the area and since one of their 4 pre war codes are ”protect innocents” they sprung into action and alongside some of the townspeople managed to push back and then by themselves eliminate the warband of roughly 159 individuals. Of the team damage is light with only X3 suffering anything more then paint damage.

The automatons left behind a communications beacon and our radios have tuned in to it so we await the response of whoever has it. Team Omegon has officially been ordered to return and scavenge the RZ as this is the first team with full functionality we have had since after the closing of the complex.

Great dig almost to an end?
Today as announced in all complexes, a dig to the surface, which we now know has areas saved from the radiations above us. The dig which includes the access to a train track and everything is supposed to finally allow us to establish a small foothold on the outside world.

Yes, it is true that it won’t be enough to start a colony and it could only fit a couple hundred people at most but that is a couple hundred that the complex can now house and feed instead. As it stands, the dig is almost over with the entrance and final station being constructed alongside a “fortress outpost” which has brought small protest as the people demand to know why would we fortify the area when we are all that remain. Unless the governments are holding something from us that is?

Maybe a warlord is able to steal all of our stocks of pre war weapons and robots, and we need to team up to beat them, destroying our pre war stuff in the process.

Mearisse wrote:"The radiation from Russia traveled to our homelands, from what we've gathered it seems Russia was a major target when these bombs all started. Our science division has made breakthroughs from making artificial diesel fuel from corn which we grow regularly in our crops below ground. That's why we haven't gone to much deeper waters yet, it is planned to go out further from our borders to explore more by boat instead of by helicopter. That was a risky thing we decided on since I was trained in being a pilot before all this." Jeremius would say.

The two looked to the odd cups which were actual wood instead of glass which they were use to since those were commonly used by the humans before them. The style was appealing though to the landscape that they did see so far.

"I agree, We should eat since hot meals aren't that common, they cool down very fast in our home country. I have had experiences with crabs back home, They were called snow crab and were all over the deeper parts of the ocean and were safe, so many come in at a time and I always hated the pincers." Merlene would say then the two would begin to eat but not with forks or knives like most but they used their claw like hands to manage their food instead and took it slowly unlike most dogs would as to savor the taste.

"Our home is more of remnants of our creators, they kept many stores of equipment, food, many other things but we saw the right time to get a helicopter in the air outside of the storms that we have back home. I won't fly unless it's safe." Jeremius would say when he finished one of the bites. (Wee another reference)

"We were left a fair amount of electric hardware from before the war, at least we can cook our food - it's unhealthy to eat it raw, apparently. Honestly, I haven't got a clue how these 'induction' stoves work, I just turn the dial and it heats up, but I won't complain about eating hot meals."

As the two ate, Rico quickly finished the fish, eating it and going to the storage room again. After a few minutes, she reemerged from the dark room holding a wooden board with several types of cheese pieces and fruits on it, setting it down on the table.

"Do dogs like cheese? I think you're supposed to do the charcuterie board before the meal... I dunno, the book was pretty smudged on that part," she said. Much of Renean knowledge came from surviving books, and the one Rico was referring to was in a pretty poor state, apparently. "What do dogs normally eat, anyway?"

The fruit was cold and, like with everything else, was slightly off due to having to adapt to livingi n a radioactive wasteland. Some were dried while others were fresh, and Rico ate one of the olives, giving a smile smile to let them know it was safe to eat. For her, at least.

"Well, do you have any questions? Or are we both still shocked from finding other intelligent life out here?"

mfw we have to get our positron rifles back because Grug couldn't operate the giant death robot guarding the cave we were throwing our weapons in (we have yet to invent any other deadly weapons)

The two would eventually finish the steaks which didn't take long with how their teeth and jaws were set up. They almost cut through it like butter with how sharp each tooth was. They looked over seeing other things being brought out which were different types of cheeses and fruit on it. They hadn't seen a fresh fruit in a while minus the ones they grew underground along with vegetables.

"Yes we can eat cheese, actually we can eat pretty much anything that humans can." Merelene would say.

Both the Mearisseans looked to the fruit that was on the tray which looked almost too fresh to be true, there were some that they grew back home and others that they hadn't seen before in person. Merelene looked to a strawberry which she took and ate since they hadn't seen one before, she gave a pleasant facial excpression. Jermius would look to what looked like a cherry. He would take that and try it since those fruits weren't very common in their area.

"How big is your civilization here? We didn't see a whole lot of anything else on the way here until we spotted you from the air." Jermius said once he finished with the cherry.

"Our most recent census said that we had around a million people. You didn't see anyone besides me because we all live underground, away from all the radiation - it's pretty sad, really, everyone's shut in there, trying to survive. We're all grouped into one city, which was built underground as a sort of doomsday bunker for civilization - well, it's just us now. We're all just trying to survive, I think," she explained. "I chose to live near the surface to get away from all that - the city's lively, but it's cramped, too. We all worked jobs in manufacturing or something, using whatever was left from before, I guess I didn't like that, either. Sometimes I think it's boring, but I've grown to appreciate idly passing my time, too."

She went over to the computer that was sitting on a desk, turning it on. A fan whirled and some lights turned on. The screen turned on to reveal a blank desktop, and after some clicking of the mouse, the screen revealed various pictures of an underground city. It was in a cave of some kind, and its buildings were made of what looked like wood and paper in an oriental architectural style. People were walking the streets, all with cat ears and exotic colored hair like Rico's.

"We were left with computers, at least. You can do all sorts of things on one. Oh, here's the main city we all live in, it's not too far away from here, I go back there occassionally. My next trip's coming up, would you like to accompany me?"

"That sounds pretty similar to our civilization, we all have jobs like your people which includes artificial gardening and raising livestock, manufacturing goods that we need in our everyday lives, all the way to military service which is also our police force. Most of our civilization is underground too but there's a few settlements that have sprung up on the outside world." Jermius said once Rico finished what she said. The two Mearisseans then looked tot he computer hearing it turn on.

It sounded similar to an older computer which they still had some of those laying around in the cut off wings that use to be labs. They looked to the screen seeing the browsing then seeing pictures of what she was talking about. It was a cave which they could see and the architecture was strange compared to what they've seen which wasn't a whole lot really. Even stranger is there were other cats like her own there.

"We had a lot of computers left over that contained many things, including our origination as well as the humans that use to live there before. We've turned the complex into our own livable cities and even added onto it. Taking a trip to your city would be interesting to see." Merelene would say looking to the screen still as pictures would continue to turn.
