The author of this proposal Inevitable Poverty has worked hard to bring this proposal in compliance with our Pillars, and sufficiently addresses the internationally relevant issue of natural rights and openness of law. Requiring publication of laws and prohibiting ex post facto application of the law is central to the spirit of the World Assembly, and we support this resolution for those reasons.

For Adopters, the WCA shows moderate effects on Safety with predictably strong effects on Civil Rights and Employment, but will lower Social Conservatism and Authoritarianism for many average nations. Tourism may take a small hit for adopters too, and we ask that you try and offset it through Issues while adopting.
