How to Open a Bank Account

The Kaiserreich economic system is entirely unique to us. No other region has the same level of sophistication as our system has. I coded a whole web app specifically for our use.

1. Create Your Account

    1. Navigate to Linknstb.itfns.com (NSTB stands for NationStates Transregional Bank and ITF is the Interregional Trade Federation, the overall governing body of the economic system)



    2. Type in your exact nation name, and then click the Get Code button. This uses the NationStates API to verify that you own the nation that you claim to be. By inputting this code, it doesn't give the website access to your nation, it just verifies that the person filling out the form owns the nation in question. As far as passwords go, your password is fully encrypted with salt, but even so, don't use your normal password for this application. That's just good practice.


2. The Dashboard

    1. This is the dashboard. It's where you do literally everything as an individual user. Every account has an eight digit code, which you can find at the bottom of the account balance card. If you want to transfer money, all you have to do is type in the recipient's account code in the transfer card and then type an amount.

    2. If you don't have your recipient's account code memorized, click the Search for Accounts button and type their name, it will then fill that field for you.


3. Multiple Accounts

    1. If you have multiple accounts (business, government, or NPO), you will find your other accounts at the top right of your screen. Simply click which account you want and it will update your dashboard to that account.

    2. The only difference between personal checking accounts and business/organization accounts is that the latter can set up automated transfers for payroll or loan payments.
