Onboarding Checklist

• Welcome to Carcassonne: A quick and easy guide to help you get set up in and make the most of Carcassonne.

• Endorse the Emperor and Senate: Endorsing the Emperor and the Senate is important for safeguarding our region against external threats and allowing you to get citizenship.

• Join our Discord: Our Discord server is where our members hang out and most government business is conducted.

• Join the regional forum: The forum is where proposed laws of the Ecclesia, Carcassonne's regional legislature, are posted.

• Apply for citizenship: By applying for citizenship, you can vote to elect our Minister-President and Citizen-Speaker, propose laws in the Ecclesia, sign up for the Ministries, and even run for elected office yourself if you so desire.

Employment Opportunities

Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do in this region. Below are some of the opportunities Carcassonne offers.

• Apply for the Ministry of Culture: Led by Minister Magrusa, the Culture Ministry organises fun events and dazzling festivals for the entire region. If you like to play games with friends or hang out with them in Discord VCs, this is the perfect Ministry for you!

• Apply for the Ministry of Recruitment and Welcoming: Led by Minister Aason, the Recruitment Ministry primarily recruits new nations to come to Carcassonne and integrate them into the region as productive citizens. It is also responsible for the modernisation of Carcassonne's dispatches. The Welcome Committee is part of the Ministry's portfolio, so if you like to greet new nations, you can apply to join the Ministry and become a member of the Committee!

• Enlist in the Grand Army of the Crowned Republic: The Grand Army is Carcassonne's regional military. It defends our region and allies, and advances frontierist principles of dismantling wastelands and supporting true Frontiers.

• Enlist in the Gendarmerie: The Gendarmerie consists of soldiers who will move into a region on command and endorse, or "pile", on that region's delegate. This is a way for citizens who don't have Discord to still contribute towards the Grand Army.

• Sign up for our Roleplay: Led by Minister of Roleplay Southern Schtakastuvia, our roleplay universe Carcaso is set in the 21st century analogous to Earth, with its own map and rules. If you are an active roleplayer, you can sign up for a spot on the map and start crafting stories with other players.

• The Government of Carcassonne: Know your government by perusing this directory of all government officials in Carcassonne. If you have questions or suggestions about any aspect of the regional government, feel free to send a telegram to the corresponding government official.

• Constitution of Carcassonne: This is the current Constitution in force, which outlines certain rights for all nations and establishes the structure of our regional government.

• Civil Code of Carcassonne: The region's official law code, which regulates the citizenship oath, endorsement caps, election procedures, armorial rules, and Ecclesia protocols.

• Regional Message Board Rules: When you are posting on the RMB, remember to be mindful of the rules.

• Embassy Policy: If you are a diplomat from another region, please consult our policy for in-game and Discord embassies.

• Voice of the People: Carcassonne's leading newspaper, where the latest news on regional happenings and global events are reported to the public. A project to work on the next edition of Voice of the People is underway in the Ministry of Culture. • The Legion of Honor: The Legion of Honor is the chivalric order into which each nation of Carcassonne that endorses His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Reside and the Senate, is inducted.
