TSR | Cultural Agreement (CA-241021-1)
THE FOUNDER OF THE SASQUATCH REPUBLIC AND THE DELEGATE OF THE WEST PACIFIC, hereinafter referred to as "the Parties";
RECOGNIZING the special relationship existing between their communities; and
RESOLVED to expand and strengthen the familial ties and reciprocal understanding between their communities; and
COGNISANT of the worthwhileness of promoting to the greatest extent possible the mutual knowledge and understanding of their respective regional cultures and artistic accomplishments, as well as their shared history and way of life, by means of friendly cooperation between their respective regions;
HEREBY AGREE as follows:
Article 1 - Purpose
The Parties, eager to broaden knowledge of each other's community and culture for the purpose of strengthening ties between their regions, shall collaborate to this end.
In particular, they shall encourage the creation and development of close and continuous interaction between The West Pacific and Sasquatch Republic communities as well as cultural institutions.
Article 2 - Fields of Cooperation
The Parties shall encourage:
the study of the culture, activities, events and history, including those of native and pioneering residents, of each other's region;
cooperation between cultural trusts, residential clubs, festive committees, and any other institutions involved in promoting the ideals of this Agreement;
cooperation in the fields of press and publication, online media and podcasts;
contacts and cooperation between sporting organizations of the two regions;
the development of cross Regional Message Board communications between the two regions;
the sharing of experience and expertise in the fields of arts, culture and regional heritage; and
any other forms of related cooperation as may be acceptable to the Parties or relevant institutions in both regions.
Article 3 - World Assembly Cooperation
The Parties shall encourage the establishment of contacts and cooperation in the General Assembly and Security Council of the World Assembly, and shall encourage open and frank conversation between the two regions.
Article 4 - Disputes
Any dispute between the Parties as to the interpretation and implementation of this Agreement shall be resolved amicably through consultation or negotiation between the Parties.
Article 5 - Termination
This Agreement may be terminated by either Party at any time. This Agreement shall remain in effect for two full days (forty-eight hours) following notification of cancellation. Notification shall be given privately to the other Party.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned, being duly empowered executives of their respective regions, have signed this Agreement.
