Originally founded in 1283 as the Grand Duchy of Eldeia by the House of Lampsweerde, the nation was later renamed to the Grand Duchy of Rivienland as the House of Van Riviendorp took power in 1421. A minor power within the region of Forest, Rivienland has a population of 1,396,618 people, a GDPpC of $19,608 and a GDP of $27.3 billion. The Grand Duchy is an executive constitutional monarchy, and is ruled by the Head of the House of Van Riviendorp, which is currently Grand Duke Willem XIV.
